    Very interesting video on how you went into holistic approach on many health issues.
    Interesting to note that the root cause of health issues can be in the gut.
    I have issues with my heart with scared tissues in my heart giving me angina pains on exertions.
    I have noticed that I get gut issues after I have angina pains.
    I get bloating, stomach aches, insomnia etc during the middle of the same night after angina pains.
    Can you say what triggers this and how it can be avoided?

    I respect and trust functional medicine much more than I respect and trust the traditional medical establishment. Traditional medicine treats just the symptoms wirh multiple medications instead of treating the root causes of degenerative diseases. Functional medicine treats the root causes of disease instead of just prescribing multiple medications with poor outcomes.

    For my colonoscopy I was prescribed Magnesium Citrate as part of the prep. It burned so much, but none of my doctors had any explanation for why. I also tried to take a smaller dose as a supplement a bit later. I had the same reaction. Have you ever run into that side effect?

    • @drrajsree
      @drrajsree  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question. Yes my actual favorite is a chelated magnesium which is only part magnesium citrate and mixed with other more gentler magnesiums like magnesium glycinate and taurate. I give my patients "Essential Magnesium" which seems to be gentle on the gut and is a combination of chelated magnesiums. You can learn more about it here:

      Thanx for all your advice!

    Is it harmful to take digestive enzymes all the time? Should you only have to use them for a period of time?

    • @drrajsree
      @drrajsree  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, if you find them helpful, there is no harm. Sometimes I suggest taking them after the meals in longterm use so that you don't suppress the body's initial normal production of enzymes (you are just supplementing additional)

    The videos are always informative- much appreciated.
    I'd like to find out if our body aromas can also be affected by the food we eat, I've noticed that I dont really have allergies but rather some sensitivities that cause discomfort, also certain foods have a lasting, noticable effect on my body aroma and breath, is there an explanation for that perhaps?

    • @drrajsree
      @drrajsree  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes for example, garlic can affect body aroma. Sometimes bad breath and body odor are due to microbiome imbalances. Stay tuned for my next video coming soon on Candida/ SIFO it often causes body odor.

    sadly giving case studies proves nothing much other than that person may or may not have improved. Gut issues are complex and individual and almost finger print like in complexity. Bovine Lactoferrin is proving to be outstanding at addressing many hidden issues not able to be tested for. Food sensitivities are the worst to sort out. Citrate can inflame many guts. Mast cell activity can pin point so issues. Probiotics are also complex and often do not match the gut existing biome, so, taking probiotics can be indeed problematic, especially in high dose. MHTRF mutation and sulfasion is also an serios issue to treat, complexity after complexity, its hard and there is NO quick fix.
