Thank you for your wonderful contributions to this year’s Old Testament study. I so appreciate (and applaud) your efforts. You have blessed my life this year and I can’t wait to begin (again) studying the New Testament!
Thank you so much for your testimony. It touched my heart. I thank Heavenly Father every day for our Savior, for without Him, we cannot gain or come close to exaltation. May you have a blessed Christmas.
thank you for your dedication and love to is in teaching us Heavenly Father‘a holy writ. They have taught me that the mysteries of God can be opened to any one of us that seth to know our dear Saviour. Merry Christmas to you and your family
As I stumbled across the Book of Mormon Central, It was so exciting to see your face and hear your testimony, Sister Tillman Dick! This is Sister Polander. I love the scriptures you have shared. I have enjoyed studying the OT this year. I look forward to seeing the quoted scriptures in the NT and remembering the stores we read.
Why arent schools for children and youth or universities mentioned in the Book of Mormon? Lawyers are mentioned so they obviously had institutional learning centers.
Children learned beside their parents. The entire family did everything that was needed for survival. Children could also apprentice with a cloth maker (weaver) or a medicine man or woman. But mostly children followed in their parents footsteps. Families often did one thing for society and everyone would go to that family for cloth, etc... This was true in most western civilization. One family would be the undertakers, bakery, or black smith etc..Lawyers were not university trained. They were trained by other lawyers. That was their university. They also used the scriptures/God’s laws to be the rule their judges judged by. They added laws for society when they thought it necessary. But they didn’t add those to scripture. Those were strictly kept within society only as laws. There were no formal school, being an apprentice was considered formal education.
The easiest way for us to share the gospel is to 👍 all the uplifting content you watch or listen to. The content will then start showing up in your friends feeds. This also helps the content creators to increase their audience ❤
Thank you for all your time and effort to share your testimony and scripture insights with us!
