The IV stand is great for setting out an outfit to wear, steaming a garment, displaying an antique article of clothing…… I would paint it black on the bottom and gold on the hook area.
Thought the IV drip thingie was a hanging plant pot stand. Would be great for that and you could easily move the plants nearer or further from the window as needed since it on wheels.
I absolutely love your floral arrangement in that trophy! Spectacular! Love the sifter also - never would have thought to repurpose it as a tray for your plants. Thank you for sharing your items with us.❤
Hi Lousia love the photo of your parents. The plant support is fabulous. I thought it would look lovely in a terracotta plant pot with some of your fairy lights on it as a centre piece. Everything lovely as always ❤
I think if you repurpose the base it will be awesome, love the wheels!Iam a nurse and have iimagined what i could repurpose alot of the equipment. I took tubing that was thrown in the trash and created a small water fountain lol. So much waste in a hospital. You have a good eye!!
I just discovered you. I think you are fabulous. My children also think I’m nuts. But these are treasures. Pieces of history. So happy to have found a thrifting kindred spirit 🌹
Hello Louisa, oh my goodness wonderful treasurers ! love the chair/stool it is amazing and the sifter, garden decor , welll just all of the items!! the picture of your parents is such a keepsake , I too have many pictures that are 100 years old what treasurers ! and to think I have family I have never meet! You said everything in your home if for sale!? haha someone may ask how much for Mark such a good sport and handy man. Tell them he is priceless !! Blessings , Paula
@@elegantlyknackeredstyle so very funny !!! Here in the state men really make a good living be a handy man .. however their price can be extremely high !!
I worked in a hospital for 31 years and I would never have an IV pole in my home. For years and years I listened to IV pumps beeping and beeping, I can still hear them in my sleep, lol. For the little lamp shades, I would use a smaller print. The beautiful flowers would get cut off. A large pillow would show off the beautiful flowers. You look lovely in your dress. And in slacks too.
I thought of how they have been used to help people and perhaps saved the life of some, most certainly made many feel a lot better. Not freaky at all. I like the design, I'd wait until the exact use came to mind.
When I saw the IV stand I thought it could be used to hang a couple of bird feeders from. I love your channel. I am also slow renovating and you help to keep me motivated. 😊
I can only speak for myself, but I would love to see more of what you are selling, keeping, everything! 😊 The videos always feel too short... that's how enjoyable they are. 🌻🌻🌻🌻
I loved seeing your finds and also the items you have for sale, I'm with you on the hospital item and am sure there are lots of uses for it and I wouldn't have known what it was if you hadn't said ! The flowers in the trophy are gorgeous 😊❤
The rolling hospital stand is neat! It looks like it would make a cool table base. Tell you daughters that it probably was used to save people's lives and that it's not haunted. If it is, it would be by grateful ghosts!😄
Lots of great treasures, even the IV drip stand which I also thought would be vreat to hang plants. I'm sure you will think of something clever for it.😊
Love seeing what you're selling! Your outfit is beautiful on you. I love the look of the red base of the IV pole! Could make it into a cute plant stand or side table (though don't put it in either of your daughters' room).
Beautiful and useful items! Hey, don't knock that hospital drip pole! You never know when you might need one for at home iv antibiotic treatments! I've had to jerry rig some sort of device for just that purpose. (Ended up using a camera mono pod strapped to a dining room chair.) So if you repurpose it please keep the top part in the back of the closet. LOL S.

Hi Louisa the IV pole is truly an antique they were replaced with IVAC’s back in the 70’s when we started wearing pantsuit and lost our caps. Thank goodness for all of that! Now you know my approx age. I think it would be useful in the laundry room to hand clothing to dry. Love the flower arrangement, what were the flowers used? The fabric as lamp shades might loose the beautiful print. I’d lean towards a pillow. You said it had holes in it? Do you have trim to match? Can’t wait to see what you eventually do with both pieces of fabric. Have fun antiquing!
The stool is so unique and beaurtiful! All the finds you shared are great.😊 the 8deamof arranging flowers in the throphy. Btw are the flowers real or fake? They are so beautiful. Cant wait to see the complition of your bathroom 😊
I would had pass on the hospital IV drip without fail, and agree as well with your daughters, about its history of people being in a very bad way health wise, and just as an reused item it’s not pretty, or to think of anything in the garden as well, because it’s something that shouldn’t be reused for repurposing. I do love all of your other finds, and your style, and I love older things, properties ect.. but as well, always the history of items should be considered.
What fantastic items! I think the drip thing is very cool. It totally could be repurposed.. i thought it could be a plant hanger or something.. you have duch an amazing eye for unique items.. but.. how can you bear to part w all the goods? I thought you were collecting to decorate your home?
Hello from New Zealand, I do enjoy your channel, and being laid up at the moment from an over-enthusiastic garden tidy up, was happy to find your new post. You look particularly beautiful today! Love all your finds and don't find the drip carrier remotely disgusting, just a rather cool piece of metal....the idea of repurposing it as a hanging planter, indoors or out, would be great. Bye for now, Joy

Love the old IV rack. I would hang coats and sweaters on it by the door. Or even in the laundry room. ❤
I had similar thoughtscqjd thought it would be handy to use whilst ironing.
Think a lamp would be great. With shade from the French fabric.
The French fabric would work brilliantly
I think it could be a plant stand. you seem like a very creative person, I'm sure you will come up with something fabulous
I hope so!
that hospital drip stand would be great to hang two hanging plants on ? maybe

It could! I like that idea
You could use the iv stand in a dressing room to hold clothes on hangers!
That's what I'm currently using it for. Holding tomorrow's outfit of the day.
How cute is the photo of your parents? ❤
It's so nice 😍
I think a lamp would be great.
Agreed 🙌🏻😊😊
I personally wouldn’t want the iv bag thingy. It’s an energy thing. However, I can appreciate your vision. It is very practical
It won't resemble an IV stand by the time I've finished with it 😊

Personally I would hate to see it end up in landfill. I can assure you, you won't recognise it by the time I've finished with it.
Love the Sanderson fabric but I think the print is too big for the tiny lampshades
We will have to see.☺️
Please tell me where your dress is from. It is beautiful!!!
It's a cotton dress from H&M. It is so comfortable and easy to wear. I have added a link to it in the description.

your children are being very silly - do they realise it probably helped to save a persons life. ignore them and do what you want with it.
My eldest daughter has spent a fair amount of time in hospital so I can appreciate her thought association.
