I've never went to a flea market or antique store because I needed something. I go because of that hidden treasure. The thrill of the thrift is what I like. If you asked me if I needed something, I would just laugh and buy it.
Awesome! I haven't been to a flea market in years.. that's what we call those here in the U.S. , as a child I remember going to them w my grandma.. a long day for a child as she hunted for the best deals..
Lovely look around Newark with lots of things to see some of the pots you bought would have come home with me although I don't really NEED any more ! 😊
Wish we were neighbors 😊. I'll have to settle for your vlog as I live in the US. Enjoy your channel so much and enjoy traveling along on your antiquing forays.
New subscriber from Philadelphia who truly appreciate you for adding the American USD $ I usually at times pause the video to translate the amount thanks 💝
Thanks Paula. I love that dress too. It matches my china collection 😊 Yes, I will ship anywhere in the world 😊 I just need to know what you are interested in, and your address so that I can work out a shipping quote.
That looked like a lovely market, so nice to be outdoors, no rain or wind. You mentioned you sell on your website, where do i see that? You keep very upbeat Louisa👏👏👏👏👏
Little creamery jugs. And cheese crocks and mustard crocks. These are the things I found at Charity Shops and brought home from Scotland. I think I needed them. 😉
Yes, of course 😊 These antique dealers have had to travel over to France, source everything, import it back to the UK and then set up a pretend Brocante. It's not a cheap exercise.
Did you know, according to the UK Oxford English Dictionary, the word 'antiquing' was first used in the 1700s. 1728 to be precise. The English dictionary definition of antiquing - the activity or pastime of searching or shopping for antiques.

Yes it was! 😊
What a great flea market! You didn’t buy any of those little bloater paste jars? They would be so cute with flowers in them.
Next time!
I could see your lovely pots on top of a cabinet all together. Very nice.
I've put them all clustered together on a side table. They look great 😊
Wish we were neighbors 😊. I'll have to settle for your vlog as I live in the US. Enjoy your channel so much and enjoy traveling along on your antiquing forays.

I would agree, you needed them all.
we adore the little advertising crocks here in the US!
Do you just use them for display? I love them too 😊
Loved the Pine table with the draw at the end . They are getting harder to find .
It was beautiful and a good price too. We just didn't have anywhere for it to go.
I liked the glass bottle that couldn't be stood up..a green balloon
Yes, they were lovely 😍
the industrial trolley with silk written on it may have been from a Macclesfield silk mill
Quite possibly 😊
Sometimes you buy something even if you don’t need or can’t use it just because you love it.
This is true. In my case, I feel as though my home is full of things I love and now I have to really question whether I need anything else.
I love Newark. Also thought Peterborough antique fair was great but it’s sadly no more. The area was sold off for housing.
yes, Peterborough closing was a shame. It was the closest one.
LOL .... every time I hear you say: " _do we need them/it_ " for me it suggest that you don't really like them/it 🤣🤣
Not at all. It's just easy to get carried away and buy things I really don't need any more of 😊
Trolley low I have a huge marble one takes up a lot of room
I am finding my new coffee table absolutely perfect. It's the perfect height and perfect size for my room. It was a lucky find ☺️
Do we really go antiquing for things we NEED? 😅
😂😂😂😂
I do when I've got a half finished renovation home 🤣
@victoriansword 100% spot on!
You can't find things,if you don't need anything.

Los mercados franceses son más económicos
Yes, of course 😊 These antique dealers have had to travel over to France, source everything, import it back to the UK and then set up a pretend Brocante. It's not a cheap exercise.
Don’t keep yourself in check. Annoy people! says the American.
Oh I didn't mean I needed to stop annoying people. I just meant, I ask myself those questions to keep myself in check 😊
All a bit Beige……
These make great neutrals, as vases in a colourful home such as mine (in my humble opinion 😊)
Please do not use the American term "Haul" Please use English.. terms.
This description is taken from the Cambridge English Dictionary -' all the things someone buys on an occasion when they go shopping:
shopping haul'
No such word as 'antiquing' you mean antique shopping or antique hunting. Dont bastardize the language. Clearly English you should know better
Did you know, according to the UK Oxford English Dictionary, the word 'antiquing' was first used in the 1700s. 1728 to be precise. The English dictionary definition of antiquing - the activity or pastime of searching or shopping for antiques.
Stopped watching as soon as she said " You don't really need it" Poor guy
You can't buy everything
