Sometimes I forget how gorgeous Wind Waker actually is. Easily the best use of cell shading by a mile. Well okay, Hi Fi Rush is as good.
People assume MP4 is going to be a launch cross platform game. I believe it's going to be in the launch window but may not come out until the holidays.

It's wild that 90% of mainline Mario games are on Switch but a big chunk of Zelda games are missing.

3. Kirby air ride remake ( 2024)

Why would Nintendo miss out on the opportunity to make you pay again for the same games. They have seen that it is a lucrative business for them so why would they stop?
You can in the sense that it will be backwards compatible so it will still play the old games. But it’s a new system, of course there will be new games that only work on the new system.
Purely out of practicality alone, I don't see them using a different media format for games, so I don't see it being an issue. Nintendo has an excellent track record for b/c, in reality. Hopefully we'll get an actual performance boost as well in certain games. I don't need to mention them.
@@SidNightWalker I’m sure it will be like the 3ds. The cartridges will have a little tab on them so you can’t accidentally put the new games in a regular switch

Eh I’d take what Nate says with a grain of salt. Even if he says he thinks that the Zelda games aren’t coming, that’s just his speculation. I could still very well see N releasing them as “Switch 1” games while Switch 2 gets newer more exciting titles. But to be fair I haven’t listened to him talk about it yet.
OK, I wanna start off by saying by all due respect. There are many other game games that can make its way to switch, but the thing is they’re probably only gonna go with the more popular ones that have more sales and you all can judge me if you want, I understand the legend of Zelda series is a very popular one, but that is all talked about because that’s the only game that everyone thinks is the top selling game which it probably could be, but there are other games out there just legends of Zelda and my opinion, I don’t think really needs to come to Because it got a Wii port yes I know those are a very long time ago, but there should be other room for other games than just Zelda to come to switch that just my opinion

In my opinion What i think what Nintendo should do is put Zelda twilight princess, and wind waker hd on the switch, and put GameCube nso on the switch 2.
i really really really don’t want Wind Waker on a GameCube NSO if that would mean WWHD is forever lost and forgotten on the Wii U forever. GC WW would be such a MASSIVE downgrade from WWHD. WWHD was developed in-house by Nintendo (unlike TPHD) and is an absolute masterpiece. obviously GC WW *was* a masterpiece as well, but i don’t want the inferior version on my Switch or Switch 2 when a far superior version exists, trapped on the sad old Wii U that sold like shit.
