This house with some renovation could be really dope..that bowling 🎳 alley is definitely staying right there..and yes some of the tiles in certain area's has got to go..
The bones of the home are great and the lot is beautiful. There's enough space to make that kitchen larger and if you had a hefty budget to modernize the entire house it could be a fabulous home.
Where do I begin? It's a massive house with a small kitchen, large bedrooms with closets too small, huge living areas with ugly tiles. This is a house of hideous tiles, from the floors you walk on to the bathroom walls. A huge bathroom with more ugly tiles that has a walkout door to the deck, can you say WTF!!!!😂. I would have to be massively in love with the area and have millions in the bank because it's going to take at least a million dollars to get that house to my likings. 🥴😵😵💫🤯SMH 😮💨
I love the master bathroom I could have me a nice coffee station and I could always step into the bathroom get my coffee and step out to the patio and have a wonderful beginning to my day I love this house😊😊😊😊😊😊
This is one of my favorite houses that you have looked at Yes if I had the money I would buy this house I love the floors I love the entryway I love the kitchen I love this house take care
I would buy it and take up all the stone floors except for the basement . Love the bowling alley . Would paint the kitchen cabinets and add new knobs. Change out the cooktop and countertops. I loved how large the bedrooms were
This is another beautiful home but from the look of the kitchen and certain areas, they're not serious about selling. Clean presentation is everything, especially in an un-staged home. The green floor is fine I would need help furnishing that space. The main house and guest house need mild renovations. The tennis court would have to go, the pool and hot tub need maintenance, there needs to be a walking path interconnecting the property grounds, updated cabinetry and appliances, and toilets/bidets throughout the house would need their own spaces. For all of this property, I would definitely need a groundskeeper. Please consider a redo of showing this property. The mess in different parts of the house is a complete turnoff. Whoever is living there needs to clean up and get out. This property is worth $3mil IMO👍🏽
The price is great - only thing missing in the maids quarters . This in the 80s was an estate Pool jacuzzi tennis court pool house Fitness area sauna bowling alley You would also need a groundskeeper The upkeep for this place is huge
I think the island is the biggest problem with the kitchen; it just seems so out of proportion. If only the downstairs floor matched the wood floors upstairs! Cohesion is so important. I could see an extended family there, or maybe just a family who didn't like each other much. Imagine how easy it would be to disappear. But the deck and the woods, oh, wow! Thanks for showing us the possibilities!
I like the green tile but not the beige entrance tile. I would paint the kitchen cabinets white but the size of the kitchen is good. Of course some updates are needed that can be done in the bathrooms and other areas but all in all not bad. That is the longest bowling alley I've ever seen.
I wonder if hardwood could be installed overtop the tile. That could be a quick solution. I don’t like the tile either, except in the basement where it makes sense due to moisture.
There is nothing about this house that appeals to me and it seems like it's just going to be permanently covered by leaves unless you hire a full-time gardener. FYI, I think it would be helpful to know the property tax bill in order to put the asking price into proper context.
Only thing dated about the kitchen, really the house, are the floors. I don't know what you are talking about but the kitchen is huge. I don't mind the tile in the master bathroom.
This house would be a blessing to my family we have bowlers in the family we have tennis players in the family we have swimmers in the family My family would be so at home and happy I would be pleasing everyone in my family Love it😊😊😊💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛😊
Great property with extra features such as bowling alley, dry sauna , tennis court, guest house and alot more. I love the entry floors and would continue that pattern throughout the entire house. I would update the light fixture, turn the room at 26:40 and 27:18- into a music studio and movie theater and update the guest house. A $2.9Million for all these on a 5 acre land is a great steal. If I had the money, would for sure buy it.
I would close off the narrow hallway leading to the middle of the bowling alley. Maybe make it a storage closet. I don't like the tile flooring but if you have the money to buy the house, changing the flooring shouldn't be a problem.
8:27- nice floor marble tiles. could be a great backsplash for a wall in the primary. I would replace it with the entry floor tiles to create a continuity.
I love the property the grounds are very beautiful love the guest house and the Persian rugs are beautiful but I get exhausted just watching vids of these huge houses 😂 the guest house is more my vibe cuz I don’t want to clean a house that big 😂 I’m not a very good bowler either 😂
I prefer little, cozy, and energy efficient. This house seems overwhelming and unfriendly. There are plenty of nicer houses already on Jonathan’s videos.
I like the idea of all tile, it makes cleaning easier and it's better than carpet. The down side, I would have to design my decor around the floors if I couldn't afford to replace them. I like that the house is not cut up, it has nice large rooms. I'm sure in the summer the grounds are beautiful, down side - the up keep.
From $37K to $65K that's the minimum range of profit return every month I think it's not a bad one for me, now I have enough to pay bills and take care of my family.
Venturing into crypto as a newbie was very difficult due to lack of experience which resulted in loosing funds......... But Caroline Anthony, restored hope shes a good woman
YES!!! That's exactly her name (Caroline Anthony) so many people have recommended highly about her and am just starting with her 😊from Brisbane Australia 🇦🇺
All that tile is atrocious!!! Guest house windows open?!? Squatters are making themselves at home all over the property. It’s a bit much for me. There’s nothing homey or cozy about it.
This house is so pretentious, starting at the gate. Yes, those are Ionic columns. These ones are absurdly slender and tall. Many of the features inside the house seem that way, too: much too much overkill, in the flooring, the detailed molding (even on baseboards), laundry room with marble floor lol, 2 stairs in foyer. That grate in the fireplace is where the ash goes. You brush it into that trap, and it goes down a chute. It piles up below and you deal with it later. That kitchen island looks like an afterthought. There's way too much different marble and glossy tiles going. The door to the deck from the master ir prolly because they had a hot tub out there. The spindles on that railing are too wide apart for children, especially toddlers. IMO for code, they have to be closer together. That weird room in the basement is/was prolly a bowling alley. Ahaha! Then, turn the corner, and it's no joke! A real actually bowling alley. People would prioritize bowling alleys over energy efficiency... This house is going to be VERY expensive to retrofit for climate change. Imagine cleaning this house on a daily basis. This house is a vacant collection of irrelevant features. No personality or comfort.
I would ask for a credit to replace that gaudy tile! I will not buy a house again that has a relative staying there. Been there done that and it is a nightmare!
Whoa, too much house. The cost to update, furnish, maintain, heat and cool is just too great. Not just the interior space, but much of the exterior space, too, needs to be constantly maintained. I’m exhausted just thinking about it. The tile is awful and there’s just so much of it. All of that said, the price is great for 8k sq ft and 5+ acres in Fairfax County with all of the features of that property. Thanks again for taking us on a tour!
It's definitely a 50/50 house! The 2nd floor & basement seem like they belong to a completely different house. The entire 1st floor would have to be gutted and redone! The floors on the 2nd floor are nice. They should've used the same wood on the 1st floor! Once the 1st floor renovation is done, it would be a really nice house. Especially with all the land, pool, hot tub, sauna, bowling alley, updated 2nd floor & basement and its gated!
This house just got worse and worse the more you toured it. It needs a TON of renovation - the first home I’ve ever see that I personally feel is a tear down.
If I had $1.5 m handy I could upgrade this huge house. Demo and replacing tile with hardwood would be a fortune. Both kitchens should be replaced/upgraded as well as walls removed to delete all those weird nooks and crannies. The grounds are a mess. The bowling alley needs a mancave built around it.
I like this house. It's a million dollar fixer upper with TONS of potential. 👍🏾 8:12 That flooring has to go. It's too much for large spaces like that. It works better in the sunroom(15:30). 🤔 14:49,15:22, 22:49, 25:49 You missed/skipping these areas Jonathan😏. 😅
Yes all that tile has to go it has too much wasted space I would have someone come in a reconstruction the inside enlarged the kitchen and bedrooms so each would have a bathroom and large closets clean up the yard redo the guest house its so much to do but if it’s worth it I would have it done ✅
Yes I would purchase this house and live a good life. I would get the tile high speed buffed. The process does not require wax. I don't live far...can I visit 😊
The property has a ton of potential. I love the lot size, and the amenities. The main house and pool house needs serious updating. The outdated tile, kitchen, and bathrooms would be expensive. I would pass on it.
OMG! Clearly a mini mansion! I would hate having to pay for lawn services, imagine your bill! Talk about an endless sea of leaves surrounding the property too me screams fire hazard! Hard sale! The rooms have a disconnect and no social rhyme or reason in relationship to one another! There is way too much marble tile throughout the home not to mention how it transitions in the designs! Lose me with the spiral staircase in the maid's quarters, who does that nowadays LOL! The entryway into the maid's quarters is restricting and makes no sense in design! It's obvious the person temporarily staying there is a free loader LOL! REALLY! The property has tons of potential if you're willing to invest! For me a HARD NO SALE! Oh! Someone, go tell the free loader to get out! Sorry for rambling, thanks for sharing Jonathan I love your videos!
The space is great the floors are ugly. I like uniformity in a home. All those different floor types are a huge no. The entire house is dated and would need to be renovated. My husband would love the bowling alley.
I know it is a large home but it just seems like too much going on. But, this place is probably going to someone with a large budget to modernize it. The floors are a lot.
Way too much tile ~~ no thank you!! It appears this house is well maintained but sooooo outdated... Guest house (and all the tile from the main house) made me think the former owner may have been from another country and in the "flooring/rug" business. ????? Bowling Alley ~~ I kept saying, "No! Don't Jonathan!" 🤨😄😂
Johnathan this house is Ugly except the basement.!!!!😞 I was over it when you first walked in and I saw that ugly entryway. Those tile floors are ugly. Also, they should have told the person that is staying there that the house was being shown so they could have cleaned up.🤷
This house floor plan is a little all over the place for me. It gives me a creepy vibe. Maybe because the maintenance. The leaves all over, the creepy looking pool house. Too much going on and it’s CREEPY! Out of all the homes you have shared this is my first absolute NO! I’m curious of the history of this house. Thank you for sharing.
To answer your question directly, NO I would not buy this house due to the anticipated costs of modernizing. Utilities must also be outrageous. Like the huge columns, gives a grand, we had money¿ look😄😆Beautiful chandeliers. This house is extremely dated. Whoever purchase, can afford an interior design team to gut certain areas. The house sitter(s) may turn buyers off with the lack of cleanliness 🧹🧼🧽🫧🧺
The entire house needs to be renovated. It would take about $600K to make it yours. If I had the money, I would buy it.
Please do some updates on the houses . I really would like to know which ones have sold 😊
This house with some renovation could be really dope..that bowling 🎳 alley is definitely staying right there..and yes some of the tiles in certain area's has got to go..

I don't mind either the beige or the green, as impact easily can be altered with decor and carpets, but I do not like the two abutting each other.
The home needs tile update, lawn maintenance, and good pressure washing bare minimal.
I don’t like the green floor at all, it’s a deal breaker, all that ugly tile all over the house 🤮
I wonder if hardwood could be installed overtop the tile. That could be a quick solution. I don’t like the tile either, except in the basement where it makes sense due to moisture.
@@kimim2702That’s what I was thinking. I would not pull it up, but would look into different flooring over the tile.

The structure of the house is great. The house definitely needs renovation.
I like it, but the Brother has to go ASAP!
I think the bowling alley the tennis court the swimming pool is all a bonus I love this house

Wow Wow Wow !! That bowling alley did it for me that’s A winner for me It is a beautiful House I was not expecting the pool too Great property

They can paint the cabinets black to flow with the flooring in kitchen.
8:27- nice floor marble tiles. could be a great backsplash for a wall in the primary. I would replace it with the entry floor tiles to create a continuity.

Yeah, since meeting expert Jessica, I now agree that with an expert managing your portfolio, the rate of profit high, with less risk.

That imperial staircase though... 🥰
I agree with J.M about the layout being weird....nice big house though....I actually liked the deck more though...lol
Jonathan, I watch too many horror movies. You be careful out there in the woods leaving doors open. Big Beautiful home though. 😊
I was thinking that with him entering a house with spaces where some one is living...
Why would you leave trash like that if you're trying to sell a house and no I don't like that green floor I would rather have wooden floors
The floor has to go !!
This house just got worse and worse the more you toured it. It needs a TON of renovation - the first home I’ve ever see that I personally feel is a tear down.

I’ll pass on this one. Too much to update.
Don’t like it at all. The floors are horrible.
I like this house. It's a million dollar fixer upper with TONS of potential.
👍🏾
8:12 That flooring has to go. It's too much for large spaces like that. It works better in the sunroom(15:30).
🤔
14:49,15:22, 22:49, 25:49 You missed/skipping these areas Jonathan😏.

The entire house needs to be updated
This hose screams Asian inspired architecture
I actually like it it to me, but I like green green. I had Lexus this green Cadillac this green I like it. 😂 and it’s not too bad the price.
Total renovation…5 acres nice, negotiate price for sure
The space is great the floors are ugly. I like uniformity in a home. All those different floor types are a huge no. The entire house is dated and would need to be renovated. My husband would love the bowling alley.
Can we talk about the squatter in the house?
A "small" house in Fairfax Station like 5,000 sq ft 😂
I know it is a large home but it just seems like too much going on. But, this place is probably going to someone with a large budget to modernize it. The floors are a lot.
Major renovations needed. It's a no for me

What would we need to do to acquire this property? Do I contact you?!
Too much. I liked the downstairs floor coloring; It should have been the color throughout. Nope
That isn't a big kitchen?
Not for the size of this house
Johnathan this house is Ugly except the basement.!!!!😞 I was over it when you first walked in and I saw that ugly entryway. Those tile floors are ugly. Also, they should have told the person that is staying there that the house was being shown so they could have cleaned up.🤷
Invest and update. Sell
It $3.5
