That Griffey 5th anniversary is so hard to get a high grade because Upper Deck over did it with the UV coating and even when I opened the packs in 1993 the cards would stick and the black borders would peel. Can’t imagine the packs would be much better now 30 years later as those cards brick terribly sitting in those tighter foil packs.
I really appreciate your videos. They have inspired me to go digging through the cards I had back in junior high and high school. I was dead in the middle of the mass produced junk wax era but it's nice to see that if you can find a well preserved copy of some of those you may have a few bucks you didn't know you had! Thankfully I was pretty fanatical about keeping mine in great shape back in the day, now I have to find out where I have them stored.

They came to me asking for work, because, the Ring leader, told me that they couldn't get work, because of Cori issues. Unfortunately, they scouted out my home, when I had to spend a long period of time with relative, due to illness. They also stole paintings and other antiques coins and other collectibles. It's been about 30 or more that they did it. However, I realize that I can get documentation from One of the auctions where I got many of my paintings, antiques and collectibles. I got this idea when I was on-line, and saw people publicizing theft of values going back to the 1950's. I'm not going to give up, because if there is justice, some people think they are to smart to get caught. Especially, when the guy had the nerve to say that he knew people who cleaned out people's houses when they go away. So, that's what he did, the, got paid by the fence who does it as normal business. The guy even told me they cut out the copper plumbing. And, of course that's what was done. Unfortunately, while people knew they did it, but they resented me moving in the neighborhood, because it meant the druggies and thieves were displaced. When one of the families had to go, they turned on the gas hoping to blow up my building,with my young children and extended family in it. Even if I never get anything back, I'm going to keep telling my story. I tell this story, because I lost a great deal, I've still been able to collect some great cards, paintings and sport's memorabilia. Yet, people like that thief will not have a good life. Because as they say that there is no honor among thieves. I love collecting the commemorative quarter's for my children and grand children. Still would you believe that they stole the 6 Carson City silver dollars I purchased from a great friend and colleague that I suggested I buy them. I'm sure they are gone forever. I was only able to get one other. Yet, it's graded. I'm also now collecting Mint damaged and short-print quarters. Doing so is a great hobby. Keep up your enthusiasm, in it's infectious.

I do that constantly... go and pull my copies of the card, but rarely are they in that kind of condition. It does give me a chance to reminisce of how I acquired mine. Condition wasn't the same back then. Alot more card cutting errors and centering. Oh well... different times and different eras.

I love all Ken Griffey Jr rookie cards and inserts. However, I am also a great fan of all the Don Mattingly cards. I'm still hoping to get one of his rookie cards. I've always thought he is a great first baseman. If fact, he is one of the all-time greats. Who knows, I may be able to trade some Great Red Sox players cards or maybe a Dave Winfield and Ozzie Smith rookie cards for one. Or, am I dreaming? I'd be even willing to trade some of my Marvel Heroes and Villains from 1990 and 91 Impel or Fleer Ultra Marvel Masterpieces card's. With sharp corner's,of course. Oh,did I mention that I would also be willing to throw in a Hero or Villain hologram?

I have a question. I have a massive card collection that i haven't really been digging into until recently. I have well over a million cards, i have just about every cars on this list except for 3 of them. I have multiples of all the others that are in I'd say next to mint condition, they been in sleeves and protectors for many years, my question is , once i get them graded , how can i sell them on ebay, i dont have a high sale rate, only as a buyer. Are there some ebay sellers you can tell me that could do them on consignment that are trustworthy.
I am in the same boat. Look at Hoody's collectables, Greg Morris cards, 4 sharp corners are some I have bought from and will probably submit to for selling as well.

My wife started going through her football cardd, she has almost estimated, 600k cards, they are mostly all in mint condition. Went from box sets right into penny sleeves, bigger name players went right into top loaders. We both watch your videos, this one is still playing on our 60 inch screen tv in the living room. The video just started bonus cards hahahaa. Thank you for all you do

If I sell it now say on ebay I would definitely ask for at least a couple thousand more. He and that card is way way under rated and deserves way more credit and a whole lot more worth/ value.. He was the most sought after card of that Era and especially that card was the one to find for our collection just as much as any Jordan cards we could get are hands on so we could show them off. Never even heard of that black border UD Ken but I took a dramatic turn from ripping packs when it was 94'😅

Personally I think the Junk Wax era is smaller time frame. From 1986 to 1993. 84 and 95 are definitely not Junk Wax in my opinion
