- Nissan Motorsports USA sent us over one of their new intake kits for the 2023+ Nissan Z so we could check it out! How much power do you think it will make?
Looking to pick one up for your Z? Check them out on our website here:

The Z is looking good! What Big brake are those?
Paragon 6 pot 355mm fronts and 4 pot 355mm rears but they have a few different size kits
Paragon Performance
How many hrs does it take to uninstall stock and install upgraded cold air?
What happened to the S15 build you guys were doing?
Yeah bring it back.
Will these intakes fit the Q50/Q60?
they will not
I expected more power from the in stock form. I've seen others in the 375whp range. I guess this one was built on a Monday or a Friday...
Same dyno and same air temp and density as this ?
Every Dyno is different! Our Mustang Dyno always spits out lower numbers than something like a DynoJet. With the output we saw, I would expect this to put down about 350-375 on a DynoJet or similar.
Different dyno, different results….my new Z put down 415 rwhp on a Dynopack bone stock
Not sure how I feel about worm gear clamps.
They're not worm gear clamps, they'recloser to a T-bolt style clamp. Very common style and really good for preventing leaks!
Filter looks identical to the AMS one
Guess who white labels it for NISMO 🤫
so if this filter added 17hp then clearly the z nismo not pushing out 420hp. its prob closer to 450hp . just think about it guys
I've had my NISMO for a few days, and believe it or not it doesn't come with these intakes. From what I understand, these aren't a JDM piece and are American made aftermarket NISMO, and that may be why. Either way, I'll be getting some of these to continue the NISMO theme under the hood.
A lot of power loss in the DCT
Personally I still prefer the zx300 z32
Can’t imagine working on that thing in 2023 though. Shame, it’s such a beautiful car.
@@ak_sprite Iva had mine for over 20 years. Had the engine and box out numerous times to work on it. Once you know your way around it it ain't so tough to work on. I can have the whole motor and box out in around a hour and a half.
@@nickacelvn You a different breed brother, keep that thing alive
@@ak_spriteeasy to work on if you got skill.
333whp stock wtf Nissan
Every dyno reads differently. Our Mustang dyno traditionally spits out lower numbers than most other dynos. Keep in mind, Nissan's projected 400hp isn't at the wheels to begin with so you can probably expect to see somewhere around 350ish depending on the dyno without any compensations. This is also completely stock, untuned. We just threw it on the dyno, got our stock numbers and repeated for the Nismo intake so all of the power numbers are what the ECU spit out.
