First time using the Savage Gear 3D rat (rad) and suicide duck. I didn't get much action with the suicide duck but the 3D rat gave me a lot of success with largemouth bass.
You got some nice fish on that rat! You should keep trying the duck here and there. It would be fun to see you get a nice pike on it! Loved the video, some great content and appreciate you reviewing the lures and explaining your retrieve. It’s helpful :)

Thank you! Yeah I fish all over Illinois and Wisconsin. I'm in Dupage County sometimes but pretty much all over Central Illinois to Northern Illinois. I do some stuff in Wisconsin around winnebago and green bay area too. But yeah wading for smallies is definitely my jam! Fun times for sure. Hope to see you out there too. Savage Gear makes some great lures and they aren't very pricey at all. Not overly impressed with their treble hooks though.
Thank you for watching! Yea I was really impressed with it. I've only ever used hollow body mice and rats for froggin. So first time with it. Definitely will be using it again. The tail was a bummer. So I super glued the replacement one.

It's all good. Thank you for watching! This was the smaller version. It's less than an ounce. I think it's like 6in with the tail. Still a good size lure.
@@reelfeelfishing true yeah I have the 3 ounce one and it makes such a huge splash when casted out I haven’t gotten a bite on it
@@AROY413 yeah that thing must be massive. Going for pike or musky? I just go for bass and most waters I have just have real small pike so this size does the trick.
What length did u use here.. I bought the 6.5inch and was wondering if it's including the length of the tail or without. Awesome vid
