The clean sound of the chorus is unreal. Personally on the very last chorus I would've loved to hear him hit just that little higher note that James does in the original version, cause I know he's capable of it and it would've sounded amazing. Zach Myers is an excellent guitar player. Brent smith is one of the best clean vocalists I've ever heard, especially acoustically (him, Shaun Morgan, and Ben Burnley are clean vocal gods). The coming album is amazing just based on the four tracks out so far, and Brent takes these songs and adds that toned down, calmer touch to them and it brings them even closer to the soul in many cases. All in all, this man, this band.. They're some talented motherfuckers.
