    Good tip! I’ll have to remember this next time I do a client. I’ve always liked qtips or detailing swabs for those areas, but I do worry that they are a bit harsh on paint if not very careful.

      Thanks man!
      That’s a good shout, but think the brushes might be a little more forgiving 👍🏼

    I use my brush and just poke into the gaps diagonally from above, below, left and right to really get into all areas.

    Try the maxshine ultra soft brushes, as the name suggests they are very soft but also very dense so you can clean areas like the name badges safely and effectively. I want the new toothbrush-style ultra soft brushes that they have just released but unfortunately they are only available in the US at the moment. Definite recommendation

      Just had a look. They look good 👌🏼
      Fusso 99 do a long firm but soft tipped brush as well which I sometimes use 👍🏼

    You can do this quickly by using your fingers around the brisels

    • @HarpersCarDetailing
      @HarpersCarDetailing  ปีที่แล้ว

      That works too. Not as effective, but works.
      You only need to set the brush up once though, and it also allows you to get in to hard to reach areas where the finger method wouldn’t

      @jonnyshielldetailing I can’t remember which long video it was but I mentioned him in a couple 👊🏼
      Always good to share tips and tricks.
      I showed him rinsing off the glass polish instead of buffing 😉

    Great tip. I tend to hold the bristles instead of the handle, but your method is better 👍

      That’s a good shout. Although wouldn’t work if you were trying to reach into a tight area such as a door shut

    I find that boars hair brushes work much better on paint. I leave those synthetic brushes for interior buttons and screens.

    • @HarpersCarDetailing
      @HarpersCarDetailing  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They are more stiff but quite coarse, so you could potentially scratch the surface

      What are you talking about ? This car weighs 3 times that for a start, and has 400 BHP ish.
      Very odd comment.
