Is it just me who thinks the themes for being close to Spiderworts would've worked a lot better as themes for being near cave entrances? They all sound pretty foreboding to me, and I think it'd be a much better fit for the anticipation of what prizes and perils await you in caves rather than just some funny plants that give you funny potions
Sounds cool but you would either 1. Never hear the theme because you don't pay attention to the music, which happens all the time. 2. Never go in the caves because you are too busy jamming to the music.
Dude that's how I got into Pikmin!! When I was 7 or my mom rented Pikmin 2 and I watched her play it...and then I played it myself and fell in love with it. She ended up buying the game. I'm so glad that happened, I put hundreds of hours into this series as a kid. Memories :)

This song feels exactly like walking through grass that's still wet from dew. Perplexing Pool is probably the best area in Pikmin 2 when it comes to exploration and cave variety
Huh I never knew that each theme had an alternate version that plays depending on the time of day, which captain is currently selected, and wether the player is near an enemy or fighting one.
This theme always was one of my favorites in the series. although it’s not as good as the likes of the forest of hope and other songs I would say it’s pretty good. I often find myself humming this to myself during the day. It’s just so catchy! or it is to me anyway.

You know something, just listening to this song, made me think about the restful dealing you probably get when you die of natural causes, it hit me. Technoblade has died, a real human being has left this earth and all their family and friends are distraught. When you think about it, human life is like the Pikmin 1 timer, you only have so long before it’s your time to leave. No matter what you do, you will die eventually, but-just like Pikmin 1-by living the best life possible you can get the ‘good ending’ where you die knowing that you changed the lives of people around you and you deal fulfilment, like you’ve given everything to this world.
