I really was not a fan of some of their newer tracks from 10000 (frog on the floor, i got my tooth removed, etc) but they absolutely slapped live. Saw them live when they came through Salt Lake, did VIP for the first time. Was kind of worried I wouldn't get the whole pit expierence and then Machine Girl climbed into our section, made the whole ticket worth it, what an incredible show.

I saw them in Chicago in 2021 and never had so much fun at a concert before. They have incredible stage presence and energy, love seeing them get wild on stage for real. Glad you had a good time melon!

I saw the MN show and it was seriously an amazing time. One of my favorite concerts, if they tour again near me I am going. My favorite part was when Laura and Dylan had a actual wizard battle to the death and both exploded at the same time, and then played 20 more songs.

I saw them when they came to Denver and it was awesome, there was one guy who moshed in a fursuit, two people in Homestuck cosplay and two other people recording the concert with a damn 3DS. It was magical would get gec'd again.
I saw them live in Vancouver a few weeks ago and it made me realize how well they work live. I really was not a fan of some of their newer tracks from 10000 (frog on the floor, i got my tooth removed, etc) but they absolutely slapped live. The energy of the crowd, the lights, and having the gecs themselves there really showed how much better the songs felt with the right energy and vibe. i rate 100 gecs live a yippieee/10
Saw them live when they came through Salt Lake, did VIP for the first time. Was kind of worried I wouldn't get the whole pit expierence and then Machine Girl climbed into our section, made the whole ticket worth it, what an incredible show.
Saw 100 Gecs in Toronto I had the same incredible experience:) They’re show was one of the best I’ve been to in my lifetime.
I saw 100gecs live at Laneway Festival in Melbourne, I mainly went to watch Knucks, Slowthai and Phoebe Bridgers but the 100gecs performance was absolutely mind blowing and made me fall in love with their music so much more. I went with a friend who predominantly listens to 90s rap and even he loved the performance
I saw them in Chicago in 2021 and never had so much fun at a concert before. They have incredible stage presence and energy, love seeing them get wild on stage for real. Glad you had a good time melon!
Also in terms of outfits, everyone seems to go wild at these shows - I saw a group of 8 women in full nun attire in the mosh pit in Chicago!!!!
I saw them last year in Prague, they had a completely different setlist as not even Snake Eyes was out by that point. Yet what Anthony's describing perfectly fits that show too. I remember seeing a guy who came in full knight armour
I saw 100 Gecs opening for Brockhampton, with SlowThai, in 2019 and the energy was INCREDIBLE!!!
Glad to know your bald energy was in the air with us that night
Saw them in Toronto. Drake owns the venue they played, so both 100 Gecs and Machine Girl clowned on him a lot.
was at the st. louis show and sadly missed the machine girl set because of the tornado warnings that were all around the area that night :( regardless, seeing gecs for the 3rd time was the best concert experience i’ve had and it could possibly only be topped by seeing them a fourth. hollywood baby live is a religious experience
Same I thought a tornado was running right thru town like an hour before the show lol
I saw the MN show and it was seriously an amazing time. One of my favorite concerts, if they tour again near me I am going.
My favorite part was when Laura and Dylan had a actual wizard battle to the death and both exploded at the same time, and then played 20 more songs.
Hi guys. Fun fact: Anthony Fantano saw 100 gecs.
Hey buckaroo! How are you? Whipped cream on top and a cherry too? Wear pants with pleats? Yes I do! A choo choo train goes choo choo choo!
@@joeyturncoat420 the
100 gecs da 🐐 no 🧢
lovedddd seeing them live!!!! i saw them in boston earlier this week and the vibes were so good!
Saw the Gecs in Minneapolis and it was one of the best shows I've been to! Machine Girl was sick as well!! Glad you had fun!
I'm seeing them this Wednesday in Atlanta for my 2nd time! I'm also excited to see machine girl for the first time. I love the connectivity you feel at Gecs shows with other fans
Catch me whimsically skipping and frolicking at the gecs pit
Anthony PLEASE! get the sonic the hedgehog crucifix guy on the show and interview them. This is the cutting edge journalism we need
I made it, but the person who brought him to the show was OKfox. He hosts art and labor pod, so he would probably be down. Lol
With the gec shortage this hits different.
"They crucified Sonic the Hedgehog" not what I was expecting! lmao
aww glad they did the drake cover in NYC also, not just toronto
100gecs concerts and the ppl always bring good energy. Can't wait to see them and Machine Girl in Dallas!!
at the one i went to in melbourne there was so much meme airdropping b/w phones, and people recording from their old gameboys/nintendo DSs' . the actual set was so much fucking fun
Saw 100 gecs about 3 weeks ago and they were great! Had a great time in the pit and it was a perfect volume (not so loud to shatter your ears but loud enough to be hype). Also perfect set list. Def a top 5 show all time for me.
oh wow, had no idea you were there too ! it really was amazing, you should've been in the pit with us !!!
I saw them a month or so ago. Great show. Fans were fucking amazing. Everyone was extremely respectful. Every so often someone would fall over on the ground in the pit and the second that would happen, everyone would make sure to help them up to their safety. Was super cool.
I saw them on this tour and there was a guy who looked JUST like Anthony wearing a shirt that said "I get zero bitches"
Crucifying Sonic is some wild stuff I 100% expect at a Gecs show😂😂
This is like that one time i listened to a 100 gecs record at Anthony Fantano's house.
Man, i saw them in Michigan last week. It was so great. Some dude brought 14 lbs of onions and they snuck one in and gave it to Dylan and he took a bite out of it and everyone started cheering
I can’t believe he saw all 100 of them
Fantano must’ve felt like a proud father as he created 90% of their fanbase
Saw them in Boston earlier this week and had the exact same experience. Best crowd I've ever been a part of!
Some of us are lucky to have seen even one gec, Anthony. No need to rub it in everyone's faces that you saw 100.
