I am currently working on the same guitar, albeit with the batwing headstock. I wanted to be sure that I wasn't making a mistake when the new pickguard didn't fit, glad to see it's normal on this model, thanks guy! I will be routing out the wood to make the pickguard and electronics fit, and I'll get a new bridge and all that too. Thanks for the help!
@@justinrayguitars6024 The one I got on craigslist only has 2 springs in the back, should I get another to have 3 like the one in your video? I am new to guitar so I don;t really know how it will affect playing.
I noticed that after I polyurethane my neck the action problems were resolved. It's insane on how warped this neck was on my Squier and I leveled and polyurethaned it. Now it's perfect and totally adjustable for high or low.
I've had lots of experience in putting guitars together from other parts and nothing fits as you would expect. Amazing how many ways a strat can be built.
I just picked one of these up for next to nothing and it needs some love. Currently there’s a 13mm socket jammed in there holding the bridge block forward. Are there replacement bridges that fit these?
I have the same guitar and I need to replace the strings with new ones, but do u happen what strings i need for it and where i can get them from at a good price?
I use Ernie Ball 10-46. But 9's will work as well. Amazon is a good place to get strings especially in the situation we are in now. Thanks for the comments!
I remember seeing one of these Epiphone strats in a store back in the 90’s. Always wondered about ‘em. Thanks for the video!

Yes a Squier Standard two point trem will work. Also Wilkinson makes one. Check measurements closely before ordering.

10:10 I have that same problem, I just hammered it down.
Funny how Gibson sues everyone else for copyright infringement???
Do you still have those pickups? do you want to sell them or donate them do my project ? :-)
I still have the original neck and middle in the guitar. Also have the bridge that I will keep with it if I sell it. Thanks for asking and watching!
