The Sunburst Cascade Salmon Fly: A Fly Tying Tutorial

A sunburst variant of the deadly cascade salmon fly. I recently came across this pattern on the River Faughan page and it instantly caught my eye. I see this doing well in spring when shades of yellow seem to do very well for fresh spring salmon.
A fly I have never fished myself but I have to say, I do love a copper body on a shrimp fly, so I look forward to fishing with it!

Tag: Florescent green floss
Tail: Sunburst yellow and fiery brown bucktail mixed, with copper crystal flash on top
Body: Copper flat braid
Wing: Sunburst fox pelt and gold angel hair
Hackle: Hot orange badger cock hackle over sunburst cock hackle
