    This was probably the most difficult and time-consuming task and video since I've been on TH-cam. Whew! Going through 4 years of fall memades, recording, editing, posting, and writing descriptions. I'm exhausted! Anywho, I hope you enjoy! Let me know which garments you think are winners!

    I like all the clothes you made, and I’d like to thank you for the video you made to show them all with the pattern reference! Well, it is your sewing journey and you did right to fix them like an odyssee in this video. What I noticed, black and dark blue are colours that suit you well, dresses and layering. Great video ❤ (btw I would let go none of it, maybe new combinations would be a good solution, like your nice flower tops combined with a very simple pure black or blue skirt and a knitted jacket of the same colour).

    I liked all the maybe ones and really thought you looked great. I only wish my Hobby Lobby had the fabric you purchased from them. Lastly as we age our bodies change and I found that doing little changes seem to work and eating the Mediterranean diet is helping a lot. Just remember that we are all beautiful inside and out and our uniques makes us stronger.

    That Montana dress is a keeper. That color is beautiful on you. You always make such great fabric choices. Love this type of video

    I hear you... I "ve had an emotional bond with fabric and clothes since I started sewing when I was 13... I am now 68, I cant even imagine you letting go of such beautiful articles of clothing

      I know it's hard to let go, but I needed to make room for new pieces and projects! I'm so horrible with getting emotionally attached 😊

      Me too! I think I'm going to take that pattern out and recreate another one this holiday season. Putting that dress on and twirling around in it reminded me of how much I love that dress and pattern.

    Love that gold and black Myosotis dress in particular, but everything you made was beautiful - I have a hard time getting rid of anything, whether I made it or not, unless it has obvious deficiencies. The only thing that works is thinking I'll replace things with something better or something I will use more often and also thinking that what I give away will make someone else happy. I admire your strength in going through everything in such a decisive way! Maybe it wasn't, but it looked like it! Thank you for sharing all this work with your viewers and I believe you must indeed be exhausted, but I'm inspired, so thank you!

      ❤ yes! Doing these types of videos can be exhausting 😅 I'm trying to be more conscious about fabrics and clothing. I don't want to contribute to the landfill problems.

      @@crumpetsteaandsewing Yes - I saw a picture of clothing dumped in a desert somewhere and it was amazing. We used to save old clothes, which were mainly cotton, for rags when I was growing up, but a lot of the modern fabrics don't really work for that, and you can only use so many rags!

    I thought they all looked nice on you but I know if you don’t feel your best in them then it’s time to donate. Recycling the ones that you like the fabric is a great idea.

      There is nothing wrong with passing on clothes. Make new ones that make you feel awesome in.

    with my own closet clearouts i've found that my own gut is the best indicator. it sounds like you know deep down what the fate should be for most of these garments. trust your instincts! i know how hard it is but there is no sense keeping things that don't serve you well. best of luck in your journey!

    • @crumpetsteaandsewing
      @crumpetsteaandsewing  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @knottygnome I completely agree! The only reason why I am going back and forth is because I really don't want to contribute to landfill waste. It's such a big problem and affects a lot of communities. So I feel guilty. Even if I donate them to the goodwill, there's still a small chance it won't get sold and end up in a landfill. Idk, maybe I'm overthinking things.

    Well if I can remember correctly. The two sets with the crop tops are very cute on you. If the concern is being too short I would just wear a matching cami underneath. I loved the Montana dress on you and I’m with you, I’d give to my daughter as well .❤️ other than that I’m sure you will make the right call! There are no losers especially when you donate! Thanks for the fashion show!

      That's a great tip! I didn't really think about a cami.
