What Happens if you StraightPipe a 2Stroke ATV

In today's video, I discuss the side effects, results, or disadvantages of modified exhaust on a two stroke engine, a late 90s Polaris Explorer four wheeler in this case. Is it ok to straight pipe a 2 stroke? Can you?

The problem is its running to lean will eventually cook the topend or suck something into the cylinder I'd atleast get a head pipe on it

Good to know, it’s actually my grandparent’s ATV, I just use it all the time when I’m on the farm working for them. They don’t know a ton about 2 strokes and small engines., I know more than them. We do intend to fix it, but it just hasn’t happened yet.

@@brycelovell6984 well, we don't have much time, tons of parts are in the way, I did try for an hour, had it fixed for one drive, we need studs instead of bolts
