Regarding the swept tip, do some Rc blades have tapered or twisted blades to increase efficiency ? I know a 6 degree twist is more efficient than a straight blade for example, think it's around 5% more efficient but it's harder to make of course.
Heim back in the 1980's did make washout blades I.E blades with a twist that increased the lift more evenly down the blade. The problem is that there no good for inverted flight for obvious reasons. So they weren't very popular. I have used the and they were very stable blades in flight for general flying and simple maneuvers i.e loops and rolls.
