Yes lash adjusters we’re changed, same time cloyes gears and chains and tensioners. Oil pump (melling) also. At 107,000 this engine is pristine inside. Always had oil changes. Now I’m leaning towards exhaust manifold gaskets. But it seems more of a tick not a swoosh sound? By the way it only does it when it’s cold and only last for under a minute. Other than that the 4.7 L I have runs excellent. Thanks again for all your help and videos, I couldn’t of done it without your help and I’m sure I’ll figure it out.

Yeah I think your best sticking with the 6 cylinder opposed to swapping in the V8. I've always liked the 4.0 there's a lot of mods for them and you can get them to scream and they last forever.

The machine is still working great the only thing I had a problem with was the ultrasonic cleaner it does not have a thermostatically controlled temperature or timer and if you leave it on it will burn up.
Could you show the YR3E A4A up against XR3E A6B. They seem to cross with each other on all the charts I have seen. Seems to me there should be a difference of some kind or why else create a different number. They are both single hole jets. The specs for the A4A are 43.5 psi /3 bar is 23lb/hr = 241.5 cc/min. Also, whether or not there is a compatible upgrade available to replace the single hole without using more fuel. The PCM is very touchy. The A4A was causing a lean condition so I bought a 4 hole version of the A4A and now running rich. Based on your demonstration not all multi-port injectors use more fuel. My vehicle is 2002 Ford e-150 v6 4.2l 256cid.

What's something like that cost? Also, I read best lube to use is either silicone spray, or natural oil like coconut oil, or mild soapy water. If I used soapy water it would be a natural, plain one like Ivory or Bronner's, as I wouldn't want strong detergent wearing on the oring material or other unnecessary contaminates...for better longevity. It's those dang orings that seem to cause the most problems and leaks before anything else. And some cars are such a pain (labor wise) to access the injectors.

Hi Martin. Have you seen the new Metra Double Din Dash bezels for the XJ? I bought one and will be able to review it soon. You still have to cut up the inside of the dash as your video describes, but the bezel is an entire replacement with the DD opening already done. FYI>

I really like it. I don't know if it could handle that high volume injector. The biggest I've run so far around 300cc, and it works great. This with this model of cleaner I did burn up the ultrasonic bath because I forgot about it after I went inside the house, It needs a timer or don't leave it unattended.
Martin, I have a 2000 WJ with the 4.7 that I recently purchased from the Original Calif owner. It has 220,000 miles on it and is really clean. There are no Dismantlers here in Pahrump so where in Las Vegas do you suggest that I search for parts when I need them?
You need a hide a hitch. Unless you can find one at a decent price what i would do is take any heavy duty hitch and cut it to fit your rear section and weld it on or weld plate to the sides with guessets so you can bolt it on. If you get down by riverside ca i have like 4 different hitches you can have one for free if you want. Or check offer up and facebook market place. Few good yards in apple valley and vegas also. If property is decet priced in your town open your own yard parts cars are cheep lol.
By using a small funnel place it in one of the injector tubes tubes and pour the fluid into the glass tube and have the tester on set drain. It's funny the directions nowhere tell you how to feel is to feel the tester. I think that would make a great short video perhaps I'll work on that when I get home this evening.

Martin I purchased the same machine. mine has a sticker that says 220-240 on both the machine and ultrasonic cleaner, but i didnt get the converter. do you think i need to buy a converter? also how do you fill the machine with the cleaner fluid? thanks
I think you need to contact your seller, sounds like they sent you the wrong unit. And you fill the tank with that funnel supplied through those tubes where you mount the fuel injectors.

I use it to make sure all the injectors are operating equally and being able to compare other injectors to another. I also use it to reverse flush the injectors.

110v cannot give enough BTU’s to clean. That weird plug will accept a lot of different plugs.

yeah, I had recently heard about it, which makes the conversion much easier.
How do you fill the machine with fluid? And how much fluid goes into it?
using the funnel pour the fluid into the glass tubes, have the machine set to Drain and it holds 4 liters but 1 gallon works just fine.
martinbuilt So I will need to have the machine set to drain as I pour in the fluid. And I should put in a Gallon of fluid, correct?

I'm not sure the pump could push 6 injectors all at the same time at 60 psi.

Im a couple hrs away in ca az depending on what parts you need i may be able to help i also used to be big into the dakotas and durango 4.7.

Do we need training for this machine? Is there a course you have to pass?
no training but it would be nice if it had better instructions. It does mention how to fill with the fluid.

no, diesel injector operate at a much higher pressure than this machine can do.
