Around a year or so ago, I started 1v3ing a tryhard looking mc club bc they were killing random people. We were fighting fair and square, no ewos, no rpg spams or anything of the sort. I was getting killed bunch of times, but was also catching up pretty nicely, I'm pretty sure I wasn't losing either. At some point, the highest level out of the three texted me "lol youre pretty good, wanna join us" and I texted them back "why not, but if you grief anyone you're done" later on, I get invited to another session by them, and it was almost full of Mk2s, tanks and lasers. I joined their MC with if I recall more than 4 members doing stand your ground. Turned out they weren't griefers or anything. They only killed barcodes and protected people with cargo. It was glorious, I still keep in touch with some of them. It was the day I realized that not all tryhard are bad. They were doing the same thing before I started fighting with them, they were only destroying mk2s and anything of the sort. Good days

I believe upside-down oppressor mk.2 can counter avenger, or at least make it impractical for them. It is too small and too fast to hit with cannons and even though it doesn't have enough missiles and will require refilling it is the closest thing to a counter in the game, apart from orbital cannon.

I once almost won a 5v1 stand your ground in this exact location. They all had their oppressors right next to them but we’re not on them so I went ghost on my kanjali and killed all of them, only I missed one oppressor and had to fight on foot. I got about 3/4ths through capturing their ground but they still got clapped getting killed 21 times all together by me and only killing me 6 times all combined.
