OMG I'm SO glad to hear you affirm my brainstorm this week. Something told me to do a tubular c/o with a straight needle! ding ding. I have been struggling with both tubular and provisional type cast on's.....good to know! Love Kristen, too!
Fantastic interviewer with another favorite podcaster. Loved learning more about Kristin, her yarn dyeing and knitting. What a fantastic group of ladies!
She is, right??? We wouldn't have a channel if it weren't for her! Everything she does, she does well. I wish I had mentioned that Kristin worked in film/tv before starting her channel.
Such Fun!! Thanks! LOVE the Tourmaline color...it’s speaking to me...rather it’s Screaming to join my stash. Me thinks I’d make that beautiful shawl, for sure. Lovely !!
Oh wow ❤️❤️❤️ how nice to have Kristin as a Special guest ❤️🥰❤️ what a treat ❤️❤️❤️ I enjoy so much watching both channels 🤗 the topics of discussion are so interesting ❤❤❤ getting to know a little bit more about your knitting adventures Is awesome😍 loved your discussion about yarn dying 😉
Such a lovely video chat. Great to hear about dyeing and designs. Thank you ladies. I also have to somehow get hold of the unbelievably beautiful green/tourmaline yarn. So me.
Wait a minute....!!! Kristen ships WORLDWIDE???????? Oh myyyyyy!!!!! It's recent right???? I want some of her yarn!!!! Chekingggg...love from Lisbon girls!!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Wow, your guest is very down to earth. I love the show. I too get distracted when I listen to books. But I do it anyway. 😂 love the show. See ya later. Going to check our her shop.
What a lovely guest! I have a special Voolenvine section in my stash, and they are exquisite yarns to knit and wear! I had heart palpitations buying a sweater quantity of Dead Calm a few years ago, but I got it, and I made it into a Floozy Cardigan which I wear ALL THE TIME! I especially appreciate the woven shawl idea...I think I have a few skeins of Voolenvine that would be lovely to weave together!
I love listening to audio books while I knit. Speaking of goth, I've been listening to 'The Vampire Lestat' by Anne Rice. It's such a thick book that I'm glad I can listen to it rather than read it! Love the tourmaline colorway!
What a delightful video... Kristin is also a fun watch and so interesting. Can't wait to visit her site and what a generous giveaway!! Thank you for a great video. love, hugs, prayers.
It’s always a joy watching you both especially this episode with a guest You are all very talented and your knitted garments are all very neat and even 😍 Truly wish i could knit so.
Haha!! I’m watching your video as I’m with my grandson ( he’s napping ) and I heard the garage door and thought my son in law or daughter must be home from work early. Thank you for the note explaining it’s your garage door and not this one 🤣😂
@@KnitTogetherwithKimJonna for the very briefest of moments I thought, oh , I should pack up my knitting and get ready to go home early on a Friday afternoon. Very briefly, lol, as I then saw your caption 😂 as it turned out my daughter did end up home from work a bit earlier than usual-just not that early 😉 As always- it was another enjoyable episode !! 😊
I am so ordering my next sock yarn from Kristin! I love how she just started making a living by selling something she loved doing...very inspirational!
I am new to your channel. I'm liking what I am hearing. Love vintage patterns. My question is I have filet crochet blouse which is HUGE. I am going to cut it as it will not rip out as its mulberry silk single ply. Have you any tips please?
Hi Anne! Thank you for watching! Unfortunately, neither of us are crocheters. Is it too long? Too wide? Have you tried washing it in a washing machine? Maybe it will shrink? Or maybe you can just use a sewing machine and take it in as you would any other garment? Instead of just cutting it up? If it works, YAY! If not, at least you tried. Either way, let us know what you decided to do... K&J
Kim did you have a lovenote on? I have knitted 4 of them and a few months ago finished a black cashmere short sleeved one that looks like what you had on? Love the show and have been watching Kristin for a couple of years now, she is awesome
I totally love you guys and your channel! I just wanted to say that your video quality and content is so expert that you shouldn’t feel the need to add captions if there happens to be a creak in the floor, dog barking, etc. Personally, I find it distracting and I’m really interested in what you have to say, so I don’t think I’d notice that kind of thing if you didn’t point it out. I’m sure others would feel similarly! If you’re really worried about something that doesn’t feel up to par with the level of quality you want to put out there, you could always caption once at the beginning or the end like a disclaimer. That would be better in my opinion. Again, I really love your discussions, beautiful knits and hearing about new yarns! Thanks for doing what you do, it’s amazing!
Thank you so much for your feedback. And thank you for watching! We honestly assume most people do read the captions because they’re knitting. 😂 And some people find the non-informational captions funny. So it’s definitely a delicate balance. When Kim is editing, though, she focuses on every word, every sound, every detail, but it would definitely be easier for her to not caption the distractions and imperfections. ❤️
I enjoyed watching your channel. I think this is the first time I've watched you and I enjoyed it. I am now a subscriber. Also, some friends and I have been inspired to make a podcast so if you have an opportunity check us out at Wool and Wine. We are definitely beginners in the podcast world but we're finding it a fun opportunity. Thanks again and I loved your podcast.
Enjoyed your chat. Kristin is such a joy. Her yarn is so beautiful!! Kristin your makes are so beautiful.
Kim and Jonna you are so gifted and talented too. Love your channel.
Kristin!!! Hooray!

Thank you so much! We're really thrilled to get to know her better.
Kim I can't believe you don't watch TH-cam knitting podcasts you're a natural at producing one!
She is, right??? We wouldn't have a channel if it weren't for her! Everything she does, she does well.
I wish I had mentioned that Kristin worked in film/tv before starting her channel.
² the first time in the morning I was so surprised because I was a good meeting with the Hospice nurse said it was a good +
Lovely interview!
Yay! I finally get the time to watch this episode! I'm so glad the both of you brought Kristen on as a guest
We were so happy to have her on! So much fun.
Jonna I’m the same … comprehension not good when listening to a book. I totally get distracted. Great podcast!
Thank you!
I also love listening to audiobooks while I knit. I can’t remember the last time I held a book to read. If I did, then I wouldn’t be able to knit! 😉
I just finished listening to The Dutch House by Ann Patchett. Narrated by Tom Hanks. I enjoyed it.
@@KnitTogetherwithKimJonna that was a great one!
Such Fun!! Thanks! LOVE the Tourmaline color...it’s speaking to me...rather it’s Screaming to join my stash. Me thinks I’d make that beautiful shawl, for sure. Lovely !!
Yay!!! If you’re in the KAL, we hope you win the Tourmaline!
That was a nice interview. And all the knits that was talked about and shown were beautiful.

This interview was so awesome. I love Kristin's channel. I always love seeing her Oracle shawl.
I had to search for the dress version on Ravelry! Amazing. A lot of knitting for sure!

We’re so happy you enjoyed our 1st guest, Kristin. She is so sweet and obviously knowledgeable, creative, and talented. ❤️
Fantastic knitting guest, loved the video as always xx
Thank you! 😊
Nice interview with Kristen. Thank you
That Tourmaline colorway is stunning!!
Right?!
I love listening to audio books while I knit. Speaking of goth, I've been listening to 'The Vampire Lestat' by Anne Rice. It's such a thick book that I'm glad I can listen to it rather than read it! Love the tourmaline colorway!
It's so good!
Lovely podcast ladies! One of my first special yarn purchases was Kristin’s Faerie Hair colourway! I LOVE it so much!
ANOTHER great podcast. Thanks so much.

Thank you so much!
The tourmaline color way would make a gorgeous shawl. Smaller shawls, almost a scarf, are my favorite.
Definitely. It's even better in person!

Too funny!! That room is right above our garage. I'll put a note on the door next time we film!

And, she's amazing at it!! I made a pair of socks in her Footsie base and they're my favorite!
Wonderful conversation it felt like I was in the room with you.

I completely love this interview. I love all of you. Kim, I need that skirt. Where did you get it? Jana. I love your sweater. Rachelle in Seattle
What a sweet comment! Thank you. I think Kim got it in France?
Do I remember correctly that Kristen wanted to learn German? Kim also likes German making her a good learning buddy 😉.
Yes! That would be fun!
