- The Toronto Maple Leafs are going to have a very busy off-season. After already having turnover within the coaching staff, they will almost definitely shake things up with their roster and an NHL insider has come out with a report of what pending UFAs Tyler Bertuzzi and Max Domi could cost the Leafs. Mark Griffith discusses if these players will fit new Head Coach Craig Berube's coaching system and if they are priorities to sign for the Leafs.

It sounds like Bertuzzi's agent wants a big raise. He needs to score more consistently to get $7M or $8M per. I would pass on him for that kind of money.

I would pass on Bertuzzi. He played well in about 25 games. Not good enough for that kind of money.
Bertuzzi could definitely kelp the leafs but at 6 million he's too pricey Knies is a big winger atl less money extend him now when he's cheaper

Bertuzzi if signing for 5-6 years is not getting $6M. The fair value would be around $5-5.25M. Domi will be getting between $3.25-$3.5M on a 3-4 years deal.

I can't believe we let bunting go. He's good for 20-25 goals and 60 points per season. Hes also only $4.5 aav for the next 2 seasons.

like the logic no cap approach of this guy.
I think just keeping the bottom 6 somewhat consistent would make the team better. There is too much turnover every year and they struggle all season to develop chemistry.
40 to 50 points?? They are both only worth 4.5 mill a year if they want more tell them to keep walking.
I don't get what the Leafs don't see in Robertson. 14 goals in 56 games and only 11 minutes per game. Give him a real chance!
Love them both! Domi at 5 million for 5 years is a yes, i think Bert is the same 5 by 5, maybe 5 by 6 million. But we need D and a little goalie insurance above all.

keep them both. they were their two best forwards in the playoffs. leafs need a few more guys like these two who play physical
Jarnkrok has to go and they need to trade Robertson. Get a real 3rd line guy. Trenin could be a good addition and he is a UFA. The division is tough and the leafs need to have a nasty bottom six.
Brodie, Samsonov, Klingberg, Gio and Murray definitely not coming back.

No to Samsonov he was to inconsistent. They need a real number one goalie. No to Liljegren, Brodie, Giordano. Try to acquire Saros, Markstrom or Ullmark. Pesce and Montour would be good replacements for Brodie and Liljegren. Giordano is at the end of his career. Resign Edmundson and Lyubushkin. If Marner can be talked into lifting his no move that would really help for cap space.

LA has a full cupboard of picks in 25. We throw Liligren or Robertson and get some draft picks.
Helps hockey in the US and brings alotnof attention to the LA Market. 13.25 to not dominate isn’t good enough for me.

Both are not worth the money being mentioned. Leafs overvalue all their players. No more than 3 years for both if they want to play here. Use leverage if they really want to stay here. Samsonov is gone. Trade for top 2 or 3 defensemen first and foremost. Marner if he waves nmc traded to improve d and goaltending.

And Bertuzzi 4 at 5.75

Bertuzzi needs to go. He’s not worth the money and I don’t like the fact that he can’t stand up, on his ass 10 times a game.
We need bertuzzi nevermind domi. Bertuzzi goes to the hard spots and is an offensive threat.
