- It's been a while since I did a sunrise or sunset landscape photography shoot! Join me as I finally dive back into photographing the 'prime times', alongside a re-visit to Uley Bury and Coaley Peak for some beautiful Cotswold countryside views!

Great pics, as usual!! Sunset and blue hour are what I like the most. The light can be magical at that time. Sunrise, unless I've done an all nighter taking astropics, is something I avoid. Mainly because I don't do it well. If I never had to be somewhere early on, you won't find me out of bed till after 8am, at the least.
Very impressive young lady. Compare this video to your South Korea beach photo shoot to see just how far you have come in a very short time. Very impressive! Love the sunrise/sunset images. Spectacular in their simplicity. What would you say to that photographer in South Korea? I would say 'don't be so hard on yoursef. Just keep doing what you are doing and you will not belive how far you have come in a year.' You are the complete package. Enjoy watching you grow in your photography and in life AND you dance for all to see in your videos. You are special!
I traveled the UK to photograph in the spring of 2014 and watching your videos really makes ache to get back. Thanks for such great content!
It's a long time since I shot a sunset and evening longer to shoot a sunrise..well done yopu getting out for both. When you were shooting the sunrise tthe pinkish glow on the Horizon happens in the opposite side to the sunrise/sunset (known as twilight by many) and is known as the Belt of Venus roughly about 10 to 20 degrees above the horizon. Fave image was the Golden light one at 5:42. atb Alan
Interesting I didn't know it was called the Belt of Venus! It's been a while since I did an sunrise or sunset, let alone both in one day. Glad you like the golden hour image, perhaps my favourite of the bunch too. Have a great week!

Enjoyed video and liked the morning light. Sunrise is my time ,enjoy the experience of sitting in the dark waiting for sun to rise even if I don't get a photo. Autumn seems to have finally arrived in Devon but doubt it will last long. Thanks for your efforts in making video

Looks cold!, I honestly can't remember the last time I was cold like that maybe four years ago in Golden hour and sunset where really nice Courtney loved the warm glow of Golden hour. Thanks have a great week.
Thanks Jeremy. It was cold but not as cold as it will get here haha! Pros of winter is that the sun rises much later so you don't have to get up so early, but you do have to deal with the cold. 🙄😂 thanks for watching!

Looks like we both recently had really cold photography adventures! All your photos were really great, but I think my favorite photo was the Night photo with the long trailing lights that followed the whole curve of the road.
Glad you liked the night image. I almost didn't stick around for it as I wasn't sure it would be as interesting as the others in terms of colour. Can't say no to some light trails though! Thanks for watching. 😊
Oh I loved the long exposures, I guess it's somewhat my "thing"
I haven't had good opportunities for photography lately, but I also have some problems at my daily job.
There are chances for rain and lightning storms here today and few upcoming days so I might try my new tripod on them though I'm not even sure where to go in my town, I don't feel safe enough at the evening outside with the camera equipment to be honest.
I enjoyed the video Courtney! Your photos were excellent! I really liked the one at 5:52 the best. I just got out and did some photography a couple of days ago at a local park. It felt really great being out because I have been so busy with work and other things and just haven't taken the time to get outside in nature and enjoy taking photos. I really enjoy getting out in the morning for a sunrise, if I can get up!
I'm glad you've been able to get out more recently and enjoy the outdoors, Walter. Sometimes work and general life can get a bit hectic and the photography unfortunately takes a back seat. Great video Courtney, the weather has been different this year here too….A very very wet Spring! I think for me I prefer sunrise as i enjoy listening to the bird call and generally less wind. But sunrise can be better if you are visiting a location for the first time as you have more daylight to scout around. Have a good week ahead!

It's tough to choose just one from such a cool location and I loved the look of this spot in your earlier video. Sunrise and sunset in the same day is true dedication, not something I can see myself doing until new year when sunrise is around 8am😂
I have to say getting up for a sunrise is a struggle. A bit easier when it rises at 7-8am but then it's just bloody cold 😂 Sunsets are much easier!

"golden hour" is my favorite .... indeed, to tell the truth, the video frame just before showing the whole photo (at 5.40 minutes)
