That's such a good idea using the tape to label your Dahlias. It's so annoying when labels get lost or the writing comes off.
Hi Wendy, yes, I think it's going to be a game-changer for me!
I just found your channel and I am so happy with it! You have such a nice kind and cheerful personality, it matches flowers so perfectly! ðYour garden looks absolutely beautiful, I will keep watching your videos. ðĪ Greetings, Judit - living in Germany, being a cut flower and veggie enthusiast in a fairly small garden- ð
Oh thank you Judit. That is so incredibly kind and means the world to me. I hope I can continue to entertain you ð
Just done mine this weekend following your previous video. We only have 6 but they've become huge compared to the tiny pots we bought them in and have also harvested seeds through the year. Fingers crossed they last.
It's such a relief to have them finally all wrapped up and snug for the winter! Sounds like you'll be able to divide some in the spring to make more beautiful plants! and good luck with your seeds - would love to know if you get any 'keepers' from them ðļ
â@@cottoverdiwell we have oh 8 actually
Sun and Ice
Izzara
Vernones Obsidion
Scarlet Pimpernel
Karma Sangria
Jadoo
Mystic Spirit (burgundy foliage orange flowers)
Red and Orange also burgundy foliage.
We did have Dutch explosion as well but the winds we had killed it before it could establish
So any seeds may well be a combination of these which would be exciting if any are viable. We shall see next spring ð great content thank you.
Thank you so much Annette. very useful information. I will be digging mine soon. Well, I say digging, but I grow all mine in pots so tipping out would be more appropriate. I usually store them in their pots and i dry them by not watering and keeping in the greenhouse at 10 degrees, but I have such a large collection now that I am running out of space so going to store my dried off tubers in crates. First time\ to do this , so wish me luck. I am scared! I am sure. We have been so lucky this year with the weather staying milder so late :-) xx PS I din't catch the name of the tape you use please? Where do I get it from? Thank yoiu :-)
Hi Be, don't be scared about storing them - it works fine as long as they're dry and don't have any rotten bits when you put them into storage. The tape is called Flagging Tape and I've linked it in the description so that you can see which one I bought - it comes in lovely bright colours xx
thank you so much Annette x@@cottoverdi
