Last time, I played steam games that nobody had played, this time around, I bought numerous random steam key packs online to see what steam games they had to offer, and it was for sure eventful.

The fact that he gave GRIP only a 4/10 makes me want to eat the pavement
I agree, it looked great, for what it was
It looks like the game of the century, IDK why he gave it 4 out of 10
I was surprised to see GRIP on here, love the game and play frequently. kinda salty
I fucking love grip, I played it all the time, never felt sick at all.
Its not wrong, there is too much shit happening on screen which in turn makes the game shit

the second i saw drake hollow my heart jumped. it was a hidden gem of a game. Played this game with my wife. it sure was short game but it was incredibly fun, the exploration, the management of the drakes and your resources, building your own base . Has a really nice vibe to it, although i didnt really care for the story or that weird raven
Only game from this list I'd heard of was Snake Pass, and I absolutely adore that game. Noodle is really cute, and the controls, while difficult in some scenarios, are way more intuitive than I thought they'd be. I had the same experience as you with the swimming thing, and just figuring it out on my own.
Snake Pass is one of my favorite games. I'm so pleasantly surprised to see it among random games
It was a wonderful, unique experience. I keep waiting for more games to embrace the slither mechanics. The second by second adjustments needed to keep your balance on precarious outcrops is a feeling I've yet to rediscover.
Me too. One of the most enjoyable games I’ve ever played. The slithering is obviously amazing, but I also have a soft spot for the generic Zoo Tycoon/Animal Planet style flute and bongos “zoo music.” I just love the songs.
For anyone wondering, yes streets of fury is that 'come back in 10 years' game that dunkey played that one time.
Also the Snake Ass game lol
@@Nathan-pw9nl snake pass is a great game. The only problem with it, is there isn't a whole lot of levels....
The soundtrack is a banger

@@jaygarret992 in all fairness, indie games are like 5% playable, 2% decent, 1% good, and 92% hot garbage

I find it a bit sad, that he disliked Grip. Grip is a recreation of Rollcage I and II, which was released in the 90's, which was basically made following Hot Wheels's toys, where the car had no bottom and top, but you could flip it. It was a fast pacing game back then and GRIP is even faster. Of course if you never played it, then it's hard to appreciate, but as an older person, GRIP is a blessing
i think the speed is also hard to get used to if you don't go out of your way to play very fast racing games. most racing games that i see get really popular go more for a gimmick over speed itself (mario kart is a good example). that said super fast racing isn't a bad thing, just something that can be hard to just leap into. its not entirely fun to bump into walls over and over again for some people. (obviously practice would help a lot, but not everyone has time for that).
As charming as the premise might be it's just not the best game out there, period.
and it had a banging soundtrack. Fatboy Slim, EZ Rollers, Aphrodite.
A younger person, I also appreciated it a lot. I think he did himself dirty by jumping into the harder tracks immediately.
rollcage is one off the best racing games out there for the PS1, i can completely agree.
Love the Milo and the Magpies update, and it makes me incredibly happy that it's thriving now! Thanks for bringing awareness to it Joeseppi!
The fact that he edited the song "replay" as the music the plants were playing at 17:50 honestly made me laugh and it also hit me with some great nostalgia for my teen years
Did you mean 17:42 ?
I’m hella late but for figment, dusty (the character you play) is the minds representation of courage, he’s like the protector of the mind
He was retired bc the child’s mind wasn’t really scared of that much and she was just vibing along but he had to start fighting off the nightmares of the child as her father was really hurt in the car crash and she was terrified for him, so all the nightmares she used to have came back
Late tax where?
Bade a new game, got a banger soundtrack
That's actually an interesting concept

It actually amazes me how people are able to sit down and edit this long of a video. Thank you Joeseppi, very cool.
This man clearly hasn’t watched The right opinion
Grip is actually really solid. It's more or less a spiritual successor to the old Rollcage games which were in line with the Wipeout games. I'd easily say it's an 8/10 if you know what you're getting into/looking for.
I love his humor he fr got me laughing on the ground for 5 minutes just for me to continue watching and burst out into laughter again
I remember Snake Pass when it came out, it was a really cute and wholesome puzzle game, that's a good find from random steam keys! :D Also on another note i played figment myself until i got stuck, and it's a shame the va was so bad, as it completely pulled me out of the game, whereas some other games such as Gravitas, which was actually voiced by one of the programmers, was incredibly well voice acted, so it really is hit and miss sometimes with these games!
ive never heard of drake hollow, but it looks really good too and i think i'll buy it
I remember snake pass from a dunkey video where he said "SNAKE PASS? KISS MY, SNAKE, ASS"

I really like this series. Finding random games on Steam we’d otherwise never see is great.
Fun fact about the game before two worlds 2. Before it's release, the devs claimed the game was the "Oblivion killer". After release it turned out that it was inferior to TES4 Oblivion. (Who would have guessed) I didn't played the games myself yet but i heard from close friends that the second games isn't that bad. Though still not as good as TES4: Oblivion.

that's not how it works, his content is so good because he spends a lot of time making each video...more videos would mean they would be worse, unless he hires an editor for this
@@Atropos148 Since his content is good, my logic of him posting more is from alot of people watching his videos and him getting enough financial backing to make this his full time career in which he hires a few people to help him out, like making a script, getting ideas and editing ect
Joseppi’s narration is so entertaining that I watch the sponored segments.
this video is truly majestical and i love all the edits it deserves my like thank you for blessing my ears for 35 minutes ❤
Thank you for covering Narita Boy in this video. I really love that game and it’s a real shame that it doesn’t have the attention it deserves. Hopefully now the developers can get recognition for their work and dedication.
Ive actually played Grip Combat Racing in the past, can confirm that its quite fun. I personally didnt have any issues regarding motion sickness, so i was able to enjoy it quite well.
Snake pass as well, it was quite fun to play such a unique platformer that wasnt nearly as punishing as getting over it.
Im surprised there where actually a good few decent games here.
I like how you actually gave these a chance. There's lots of videos about random key bundles where people treat every game like it's trash just because of where they got it from, without actually giving them a fair chance. Glad you didn't do that.
Remember the good old days when Steam had standards? Now it's 90% shit.
17:05 geniuinely got me laughing for WAY too long, and because of your delivery, the joke never got old despite being repeated over and over. You're really funny dude.
Yes. Figments combat is pretty bare bones, the voice acting is rough, and you can softlock yourself in the final boss fight, but the visuals, the hidden story of the person who's mind you're in, and the music really sells this game for me. The music is just perfect imo and Stöj Snak get nowhere near the attention and recognition they deserve.
They made a sequel and it is AMAZING
No. That rating was faaaar off for figment. His rating system is shot.

You clearly don't know shit about editing, it's as basic as it gets
If anyone's wondering how some of the more impressive-seeming games got in there, I can immediately say that GRIP, Figment, Narita Boy, and Remothered have been from various Humble Choice months, and it wouldn't surprise me if the pack-sellers have gone through Choice and bundles to get the occasional goodie.
Hi @Joeseppi I think your editing is genuinely incredible, but just in case you didn’t realise, for the last game, the Overall Summary at 34:35 you put Boogeyman 2 as the name, instead of Remothered. Thanks again for amazing content!

I'm pretty sure figment explicitly says that the character you play as was like "the guardian" or "imaginary friend" that the brain didn't need anymore so he went away to an island by himself. He only came back now because of the trauma the mind was experiencing. On a sidenote I really liked the voice acting in figment, it was weird and goofy, in a way that I feel was on purpose, all of them are super over the top and kind of nonsensical and I love that.
I've watched this 10 times and it gets better every time somehow Joseppi

Two worlds 2, man what a game. I remember when it came put everybody reviewing it said there was just too much to do. Its janky in places, but it's well loved by its fans.
one thing he actually said at the start is one of the most relatable things ever, i also feel theres a drought of good games, indie games which devs do with a lot of love and dedication cant be made in a small amount of time mostly because of it being an indie game and not having enough budget to get a lot of people working on it, and there are only a few triple A games that are really worth playing.
12:19 That brings back so many memories XD
Your video has given me more laughs than I’ve had in awhile and I thank you for that
Two Worlds 2 is solid game, one of my favorite classic RPGs, and it definitely works on steam (played it few years ago without issue). you don't need to activate it. steam forums have link to patch. you install it, load your game, enter code from steam keys (in game menu), select "activate later" and proceed playing. once it works you can revert game version by repairing it in steam settings and it will work. the game is good, something like Oblivion but on tighter budget eurojank that grows on you despite its flaws. you'd have liked its cheeky humor :)
