I was in the same situation. My in-laws would bring me to different "faith healers" who claim to be healing people with the guidance of Allah (SWT). I was really cynical about it but because of pressure of my in-laws, I had to succumb to it because they were all doing it. It seemed normal to them and i knew them to be religious people. So, i thought they would know better if it was sinful or a form of shirk. However, when I noticed that one common denominator of those "faith healers" is that they claim to know the past or the future. I did my research about black magic and discovered that those things the "faith healers" are actually forms of shirk. Astagferollah. From then on, I refuse to be checked by their faith healers anymore with conviction reminding them that it's a kind of shirk. They are quite stubborn, still believing that those "faith healers" are guided by Allah in their healing. Audhoobillahi min dhalik. Dear Daniel, they know Quran and hadith to the theeth, their last warning/sign was when Allah ordered the change og qibla(praying direktion from Jerusalem to Mekka) their religious leaders knew it instantly, they were no longer the chosen nation, they got replaced, read surah Al Baqarah and the circumstances (seerah al nabi)
This one time my parents took me to a shaykh although at first i didn't want to they somehow convinced me So i was sitting at his place and he didn't talk to me at all and as soon as i started recitation of ayal al kursi he talked to me After some time he started talking about my behaviour that he was not supposed to know his accuracy surprised me i stopped him and questioned him He panicked and said this is not what you think it is. I have a doubt, we can make taweez out of quranic verses by calculating the numbers through abjad method and some qurans have Surah mentioned in numeric forms. Some molvis give that to wear is it permissible to wear or keep under pillow etc for rightful reasons?
Someone did sihr on my wife . Suddenly jinns started talking from inside of her. One of the jinns was the magician. It started helping us and found the sihr from the house. And outside the house we dug and found a nail.
This has happened with our family. It's really sad how they play with us. Everyone was praising about the rakhi we went. He asked our name and mom name then he told our own family has done back magic upon us. Then he gave us the paper to dissolve and drink. Later he told to read 37 yaseen without talking to anyone or getting up from where we are reading in just one go we had to read it. Then he told to burn that paper in our house without opening it. It should be burnt and we should be standing there seeing and the ashes should be set there in that place. It took up some human form that day. Atleast I know now why all problems are happening. I hv been use to go to a dargah in mumbai india there the saint gave me a paper and ask me to rub all over the body and burn it . I did it lot of times but after that i didnt felt right so i stopped going there. So is there can be any problem to me i future if i stopped going to him. I pray everyday

I first looked at this video in 2020(back then Ihad a thaweez) and I started having suspicions about that so called imam my mum goes to (she doesn't go very often only if something bad happens) Story time: My moms dad goes to a magician so my mom grew up thinking that it was ok to do that. Couple of years later my mom got married to my dad (BTW he's a Indian and my moms a Sri Lankan) and I think he saw that my mom had a thaweez I don't know the exact details but he said "you believe in that it's not good don't do it" Fast forward to before coivid 19 my mom had a problem with the neighbours (not going to mention the details) so he went to the magician and I remember being there when he asked "what's your name and your mothers name"at that time my dad was working abroad so he didn't know this and I was just a kid so I didn't know that this was bad my mom answered the questions and he told exactly what problem we had even though we didn't mention it I remember thinking "wow how did he know " and he gave my mom a ceramic plate with Arabic words and me and my brother got a thaweez (string with knots) So fast forward to now , that thaweez was getting uncomfortable to wear so I asked my mom if I could remove it she said"no don't it's not good" and then I looked closer at the thaweez and realised it was a thaweez (your probably wondering how I didn't get rid of it sooner and why I knew this well because when I was 11 I was only a Muslim in name so I didn't know much about thaweez but ever since covid 19 I started getting more religious and watching videos related to Islam so one video I watched was about destroying thaweez so that's how I figured out that what I was wearing was a thaweez but I didn't attempt to remove it because of some reason I for got why and kept it on until now) and I got scared so I immediately removed it and my brothers one and I showed my mom this video but I don't think I can destroy the thaweez because I still don't think I'm religious enough I got so upset that I did shirk without knowing about it that I threw it in the floor
Brother do not be hopeless of Allah's mercy and forgiveness. Do not let satan trick you into thinking you're not good enough muslim to receive Allah's guidance and forgiveness. Allah is the most merciful. Sincerely repent and do your best to obey Him and leave the rest to Him.

I have a question if someone can answer I had a ruqya done for excorssim due to possession. The guy that done the exorcism was vouched for by the local imam of mosque and said that he was the man for for type of possession. The guy that did excorsim had asked me my name as well as my mums name to be written on a cloth in between spaces and then burnt it on fire after dipping in specific oil... The excorsim was done successfully and the entity had left my body But listening to this video it suggests asking for my mums name is likely an act of black magician. Any thoughts or ideas?

Audhubillah my father went to a so called muslim and he wrote some characters on a piece of paper and told him to dissolve it in water and drink it.That night he had an extreme nightmare and he said something moved my arm as I was sleeping.He also gave him a piece of paper to put it under his pillow.When I found out today I made him drop the paper into a river. They told me or us in our country by many videos showed to us that they having such power to avoid kick and punch, the enemy will be like statue. Not sure who command them or make them to help, but its clear ordinary human will not have superpower or superstrength by only claiming that this is from God. I only believe, only Prophets had those special power or strength given by God directly. Salam alaykum, if I were to encounter a person like that I would not believe whoever this person is and Is the thought of helping this person come back to the good Islamic state a good intention to do so? Because I believe that every individual has reasons to stumble upon a situation and I believe that helping them get out of evil is the right and ethical way of doing so. We should not imagine we by knowledge can defeat the greatest evil or even know what the greatest evil is because then we become like the magician. That is exactly what a sorcerer believes... i.e that he has power over devils. We must trust in Allah to deliver us from evil.

Some comments are not per say necessary so. i.e incense sticks are used for perfume smell too not associated with magicians, also a few other things aren't so literal but magic is magic. Amulets and drinking water with ink from Quranic verses are not allowed. The recommendation is to recite Qur'an over water and drink that but it does not involve magic that way. Also, you are typically the one reciting verses for yourself.
How should we react in front of those people ? I mean of course we mustn’t agree with him and not doing what he says but how should the “physical” reaction be ? Should I CLAIM that I’m gonna do that (but in reality i’m not) or should i SHOW him that i just understood that he is a magician and i’m NOT doing what he says

Unknowingly I committed this sin believing my husband and in-laws for better future believing it's not a magic rather something near to Allah, now after knowing I regret and may Allah forgive me and all the people like me who have been unaware of this kind of things, I really feel like I was the most stupidest person on this earth believing something like this rather than having complete faith in Allah.
I was in the same situation. My in-laws would bring me to different "faith healers" who claim to be healing people with the guidance of Allah (SWT). I was really cynical about it but because of pressure of my in-laws, I had to succumb to it because they were all doing it. It seemed normal to them and i knew them to be religious people. So, i thought they would know better if it was sinful or a form of shirk. However, when I noticed that one common denominator of those "faith healers" is that they claim to know the past or the future. I did my research about black magic and discovered that those things the "faith healers" are actually forms of shirk. Astagferollah. From then on, I refuse to be checked by their faith healers anymore with conviction reminding them that it's a kind of shirk. They are quite stubborn, still believing that those "faith healers" are guided by Allah in their healing. Audhoobillahi min dhalik. May Allah (SWT) guide us to the Straight Path & protect us from all forms of shirk & kufr.

I first looked at this video in 2020(back then Ihad a thaweez) and I started having suspicions about that so called imam my mum goes to (she doesn't go very often only if something bad happens)
Story time:
My moms dad goes to a magician so my mom grew up thinking that it was ok to do that.
Couple of years later my mom got married to my dad (BTW he's a Indian and my moms a Sri Lankan) and I think he saw that my mom had a thaweez I don't know the exact details but he said "you believe in that it's not good don't do it"
Fast forward to before coivid 19 my mom had a problem with the neighbours (not going to mention the details) so he went to the magician and I remember being there when he asked "what's your name and your mothers name"at that time my dad was working abroad so he didn't know this and I was just a kid so I didn't know that this was bad my mom answered the questions and he told exactly what problem we had even though we didn't mention it I remember thinking "wow how did he know " and he gave my mom a ceramic plate with Arabic words and me and my brother got a thaweez (string with knots)
So fast forward to now , that thaweez was getting uncomfortable to wear so I asked my mom if I could remove it she said"no don't it's not good" and then I looked closer at the thaweez and realised it was a thaweez (your probably wondering how I didn't get rid of it sooner and why I knew this well because when I was 11 I was only a Muslim in name so I didn't know much about thaweez but ever since covid 19 I started getting more religious and watching videos related to Islam so one video I watched was about destroying thaweez so that's how I figured out that what I was wearing was a thaweez but I didn't attempt to remove it because of some reason I for got why and kept it on until now) and I got scared so I immediately removed it and my brothers one and I showed my mom this video but I don't think I can destroy the thaweez because I still don't think I'm religious enough I got so upset that I did shirk without knowing about it that I threw it in the floor

I have a question if someone can answer
I had a ruqya done for excorssim due to possession. The guy that done the exorcism was vouched for by the local imam of mosque and said that he was the man for for type of possession.
The guy that did excorsim had asked me my name as well as my mums name to be written on a cloth in between spaces and then burnt it on fire after dipping in specific oil...
The excorsim was done successfully and the entity had left my body
But listening to this video it suggests asking for my mums name is likely an act of black magician.

Please stop saying Allah doesn't forgive shirk - Allah does as long as it is done sincerely before you die. You need to learn more about Allah's Mercy before you speak of it.

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Keep away from the seven fatalities." It was asked: "What are they, O Messenger of Allah?" He (ﷺ) replied, "Associating anything with Allah in worship (i.e., committing an act of Shirk), sorcery, killing of one whom Allah has declared inviolable without a just cause, devouring the property of an orphan, the eating of usury (Riba), fleeing from the battlefield and accusing chaste believing women, who never even think of anything touching their chastity."

Salam alaykum, if I were to encounter a person like that I would not believe whoever this person is and Is the thought of helping this person come back to the good Islamic state a good intention to do so? Because I believe that every individual has reasons to stumble upon a situation and I believe that helping them get out of evil is the right and ethical way of doing so. Feel free to say anything, I would very much like to hear your thoughts.

We should not imagine we by knowledge can defeat the greatest evil or even know what the greatest evil is because then we become like the magician. That is exactly what a sorcerer believes... i.e that he has power over devils. We must trust in Allah to deliver us from evil.
So uhm, what do Muslims consider to be normal with incantations and asking for worn clothing that wouldn't say magician? Some stuff was informative but others wear as if you decided to hit a certain board on a barn when you could have used the whole side.

Amulets and drinking water with ink from Quranic verses are not allowed. The recommendation is to recite Qur'an over water and drink that but it does not involve magic that way. Also, you are typically the one reciting verses for yourself.
How should we react in front of those people ? I mean of course we mustn’t agree with him and not doing what he says but how should the “physical” reaction be ? Should I CLAIM that I’m gonna do that (but in reality i’m not) or should i SHOW him that i just understood that he is a magician and i’m NOT doing what he says
Just be honest brother, tell them you can't do what they ask because it's against your belief.

If some who told someone to drink water with burnt paper with writing on it and asked them to throw so sonething in graveyard and to bury sonething how could that person stop these sihr from working on them
