I noticed this short time ago. It seemed important and I'm glad you reiterate that. Thanks

Excellent advice good for any golfer the title is true. I would recommend it if you haven't used it yet.

i like your swing model action figure. it shows the hand path as a perfect circle and the club path as kind of wavy shaped circle with some flat spots, kinda like a potato chip. very interesting.

That's right Steve and it's called "tangent plane geometry" and is the most correct explanation possible. When you watch the video where the tour players are mapped out you can see that wave too.

I'm noticing hand path staying on the same line on the down swing

Yes, the back and down swing is the plane.

so if the hands and arms go up and down on the red line the club is gonna do it's thing and be correct it looks like. it really seems to simplify things, i gotta try it.

Hi Steve, Hands and arms are managed by body turn and are swing. The club line will be managed through the wrist rotation.

@@bobhaas5758 bob, when i do a swing that's more focused on body turn i seem to get too inside and flat and have to turn hard coming down and it does kind of work. i was wondering should i use more arm lift so not to get too inside and the club behind me. i would like to get your book, the training aid i'm not sure because like others i have i don't hardly use. thnx, steve.

@@steveperry1344 Hi Steve, Make sure your left arm parallels the target line about half way up as you turn. Notice in the video the tour players hands work up and down just below their right shoulders.
The nice thing about the Haas180 training aid is it's a lifelong reference to a perfect golf swing and works by feel. Put it in your bag and you can use the golf cart roof to anchor it or any stable object. It's a nice reminder any time.

Not sure the message is coming across clearly enough. What exactly are you trying to achieve?

    • @bobhaas5758
      @bobhaas5758  3 ปีที่แล้ว

The perfect golf swing doesn't have a need requiring your understanding. That said, Haas 180 is a universal reference to the pattern of a perfect golf swing using concise scientific geometry. It's objectively true, not an opinion. If you desire a perfect golf swing you must have the pattern described either directly or indirectly. Exactly map your golf swing from a 2 dimensional view and compare it to the best, the exact model and there is your exact answer.

Good, then you will certainly see the relationship between the shape of swing and the ball flight.
You are seeing the effect, what about the cause? Why do you think the great players have the same shape?

THE GOLFING MACHINE BY HOMER KELLEY is by far the best golf instruction. Without that knowledge the reasons for your success are wrong. So it's never going to be according to universal laws. Ben hogan and tiger woods used very different stroke patterns to achieve golf shots. Lee Trevino and Arnold palmer used a right arm thrust to play golf. Right arm thrust compared to using centrifugal force. There is no perfect swing according to HOMER KELLEY. Geometry only. Not when you apply physics. Everything I've learned is because of HOMER KELLEYS 40 plus years of research. I consider it the greatest contribution to golf instruction and the greatest contribution to golf. I miss him everyday. I was one of the last instructors or the last instructor he authorized. I learned under ALEX SLOAN who was a close friend of HOMER KELLEY and in the first school of instructors.

Golf machine was incomplete for the simple fact that it was based on a single arc. Cleary there is more than on arc in the golf swing.

    • @lawrencesargent1392

The golfing machine was never based on a single swing. There are 10 trillion swings in the golfing machine. Every acceptable combination is contained in the book. Mr Kelley says you rarely use more than one swing in a lifetime. Whatever that means.
