I'm 68, and I played trumpet in high school. I have a couple of trumpets that are cheap ones. I'm going to save and get a good one. It was my gift. And I never accepted it from God. But it's never too late, eh? I love listening to this man.
I`m 65 yrs old. Quit playing while doing engineering work for 40 years. But my wife ask why don`t I play again (we met in high school band, after 37 years we got back together). I`ve been replaying trumpet for the last 7 years and loving it. I was always good at ad libbing solos back then and re found my groove and my high end high notes F# and more. It`s been great for my heart and breathing control to continue playing. I mainly play a 1948 Olds studio and a 1958 Olds mendez. There`s a Bach strad in my collection just like my high school one, But my main goto horn is the olds 1948 studio I got it for $300, my Mendez was $800. I love the old horns and treasure them. It doesn`t need to cost $3000 or more for a great horn, look around, you`ll find others you too would appreciate. good luck and play on, you will live longer for it!
I am 69 yo, only have my right arm, i own a Blessing Trumpet. Love your music, i haven't been playing for more then one and half year. Have to work out the low notes with my leaps. I just love playing trumpet. Spend one to one and half hour per day, trying to improve my sound.

Absolutely beautiful. I have played this many times and remember playing it on my mother-in-laws 80th birthday on the Flugelhorn. Wonderful to hear you play this and I will share it with my mother-in-law who is no 91. Thank you for playing this memory and look forward to playing along with this and even on my Flugelhorn.

first time I heard Maynard live in 1975 I did not pick my horn up for a week about 10 years later I could play "Hey Jude" same notes as Maynard not nearly as great as he but over the years my range has been very good.... Thanks Maynard the man👍👍

Great sound, great technique. You are a world class brass player. I have seen many great players Maynard Ferguson, Freddie Hubbard, Derek Watkins, Wayne Bergeron, Chuck Mangione, Arturo Sandoval, Thomas Gansch, James Morrison many greats and I beleive you are up there with them all. I would love to see you play live. Thanks for all the music and I do play along.
