The United States kept its dream dynasty alive at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games with the women’s basketball team once again capturing gold in commanding fashion, winning 90-75 over Japan. For the American women, they have not lost a women's basketball game at the Olympics since a Semi-Finals defeat to the Unified Team at Barcelona 1992. The Americans leave Japan with their consecutive win streak now at 55 games strong and counting. Enjoy watching the FULL replay of the gold medal match!

@@chadb7252 4 inches is a huge difference that’s a 5’11 person next to a 6’3 person. But USA had a 6 inch height advantage so nobody expected Japan to win.
But the main difference in both teams are. Japan played with true japanese. While American players are of African and European ethnic people. Not only Basketball, but whole Olympic squad of US is 🤣🤣🤙🤙

Due to their hard work over the years, the Japanese have come this far & their self-belief has paid rich dividend to get 'Silver medal' in this Olympics. Ultimately size doesn't matter, it's the talent & skill that count in sports.

History has been made by this Japanese women's team. No one in the Asian region did this achievement even in men's basketball. Amazing!
The Japan Women Soccer team already made history a great achievement of a lifetime by Winning the World Cup in 2011 by beating the USA womens team. This achievement is so great in Sports especially in soccer for Asia, men or Women this achievement will never be achieved in this lifetime again by any Asian team men or Women. Just like Pacquiao set the record as an 8 division world champion. Japan women soccer team set the record for the first Asian team to win a World Cup for men or women. They also face the Women USA team in the Olympic finals in 2012. Japan women also are successful in Softball and volleyball.

Not so flashy, yet Takada was the unsung hero in Team Japan throughout the tournament. She was listed PF, but had to play center for most of the minutes since their 6’5 center had been injured. 高田が地味にすごかった。
