- Part 1 of 5 , the disassembly for Retrofitting a BMW G12 LCI
In this episode you can see an amazing transformation of a BMW 7 Series G12 from the 2017 model in 2021, it is a very complex and quite expensive operation, but the end result is incredible. !!
This LCI retrofit involves many parts that need changed , wiring modification, complex coding and a module that will need to be added to the car and will create a network called CAN 3 for the rear taillights because they are smart taillights that communicate in the CAN network.

Your attention to details is amazing! Might be easier for the owner to buy the new model instead than going thru this complicated facelift process which is for sure expensive.
yes you are right it is very expensive but if you have a car from brand new and it has a few miles on board ....
Might be a tad expensive, but can recoup some of the money by selling the removed parts 😅

Amazing spec with individual Tartuffo leather and Bowers and Wilkins stereo laser lights this car is top spec. Considering the interior is exactly the same as the new facelift model this is well worth the work and if you can find the new parts on decent price it will be trendy for at least another 2 years before the next gen hit the roads. Since the car you are working on is a 740e/Le you should switch out battery with 745e/Le (uses the same space) or put in a larger battery pack. See if you could add a larger KWh battery pack because the 745e/Le is only 12.1KWh

Hello , from realoem.com you take the part numbers , and with that you can order them from any specialized store that brings car parts or even from the dealer , but they wont work on your car without the special module !

On a 2014 f07, are the front end parts compatible with a standard 550I or more so a M5. I’d like to swap out the bumper on mine.

Yes sir! If possible. I have a few imperfections in mine so if I have to paint it why not try and upgrade it as well. Also I surly hope your customers appreciate how you always go the extra mile to provide them with not just a repair but an exquisite repair!
Unfortunately they are totally different, different body, headlights, you can't do that 😕 , you need to search a front bumper only from f07
That’s kind of my research the f07 is based off of a 7 series chassis. And cool F07 bumpers are not very cheap. Thanks again for your awesome videos and it’s amazing how detailed your work is!

Din pacate eu nu te pot ajuta , dar poti lua de pe o masina cu trapa instalatia urmaresti fir cu fir si o pui pe masina ta , la urma codat si esti good to go !

Hello, for price you need to ask your local dealer/service/shop , depends on the level of equipment of the car, if the parts are new or second hand etc ..
