- Today was a big day! It is the day we finally finished the clutch job and also the day we hit 1000 subscribers!! Thank you to everyone who has shown support along the way, I really wouldn't be here without the support everyone has been showing. Anyway, todays job went ok apart from I noticed that the clutch release folk bushes were completely worn away and needed replacing and also it had an ABS fault that I needed to return for as I didn't have my diagnostics with me.

Love watching your stuff, very honest and down to earth
Great video, watching the struggles makes the content and keep people engaged.
The access to that release fork balljoint was rediculase. Once you cut it and ground it flat was thinking left handed drills could have took that out.
Thanks for the content & your dedication & Hard work buddy we all appreciate it. Good job once again! 💪👌
Thanks as always Steve you legend!
Slide Hammer Gets The Balls out mild heat to the casting out they pop & I Do mean Mild Butane blowlamp
How do you fasten them to the ball? I’m curious ☺️
New subscriber, great channel mate .
Hi 👋 thanks for the sub buddy! I’m glad you like it so far 👍
You deserve a medal my friend, doing that on your back is horrendous 👍
It really is mate. I don't think I'll have many more years doing these kind of jobs with the state of my back and knees!
Hard done on yer back - respect. Was doing a vito rwd today - I do lol at the "YT" version of most clutch changes, they fly through, leaving out the gnarly bits that absolutely eat time - only lad I watch who doesn't leave stuff out is Kev Williams (who is a beast machine..I ain't him..) and now you. Subbed. :-)
Thank you so much for the sub and the kind words buddy, it means a lot! 🥹
I was doing it on my back as well - axle stands..always bloomin am. Gets gnarly..
Another quality video thanks bud
Thanks Mark! Glad you enjoyed it buddy. There will be many more to come!
Done few Daf lf,cf,xf and iveco eurocargo clutches on my back and common for for and pivot to fall apart daf have all in stock. Your lucky you bit small to get in between motor am 6ft4 and defo no space or fun getting about
I’ve always been good at getting into tight spaces 🤣
I'm just starting the same job, though it's only to change the concentric slave cylinder on a MAN.
I'm also outside on gravel, not handy and probably twice your age!
At least 4x4 means a bit more room under.
Yh it wasn't fun doing that on my back. I don't think I'll have too many more years doing jobs like that with the state of my back and knees!
yayyyyyyyyy
I stayed up pretty late getting this one finished last night so I hope it’s ok 😂
devine moment when the spline slips straight in with no messing , that pivot point was an ass though , what a mechanic ( setanic mechanic )
It would have been so much easier if I could have got the gearbox out from under the truck! There was no room at all for to get that bloody thing out 😅
@@TheSelfEmployedSpannerMonkey when i was doing them we had a pit , donjt help doing it on gravel either mate
@@yamyamdashcam1232it really doesn’t 😅 I’ve done some pretty crazy repairs on my back throughout the years and I’m glad I’m finally getting them on camera 😂
@@TheSelfEmployedSpannerMonkey looking forward to more crazey repairs , glad you are bringing them to us
I just drill a hole in the casing when i need to remove the pivot
I was seriously contemplating it as it was driving me up the wall getting that out!
Hi im in Tamworth i have a fiat doblo 19 if your local could you come take a look at it for me please i think it a bad earth or starter motor problem
Hi buddy, I’m based in Wakefield but I do travel when needed. If you want to have a chat message me on my Facebook page as it will be easier 👍
@@TheSelfEmployedSpannerMonkey hi it'll cost me a fortune before you even get here for your fuel 😂
@@twizzlestickx7you’re not wrong 😂 I do travel a fair amount for people but I always make sure everyone is aware of the costs first.
@@TheSelfEmployedSpannerMonkey think video and views 😂🤣😂
Interesting how you don't have time for a clutch alignment tool then spend the next 20 minutes trying to align the drive plate.
I just don’t see the point in buying loads of different alignment tools when I can just do it with an extension and my eyes 😂 I’ve never had to pull a box back out yet 🤞
No grease on the spigot !!
