TRUCK ABS FAULT - DAF LF REAR HUB REMOVED

- You may have seen, but when I had finished fitting the clutch in one of my last videos the truck had an ABS fault that didn't reset after road testing. I diagnosed the fault as the drivers side rear ABS sensor shorting out. I tried to remove the sensor from the rear but it was seized into the axle and ended up falling apart. Today we had to remove the rear hub on this DAF LF to get the rest of the sensor out and fit a new one.

I like to live life on the edge 🤪 no but honestly with the bottle jacks I had it screwed out far enough before putting any hydraulic pressure on it so if it did fail it wouldn’t drop all that far. Best practice would be axle stand also though 👍

Madman, no axle stands.......jack on an uneven surface.....recipe for disaster......didn't happen, but what if??????
I am! They call me the satanic mechanic 🤪 honestly though, the bottle jack was wound out far enough that if it did drop it wouldn’t go far 🤞😂
You should of told the guys to move them cylinders so you could work in a bit of space mush!
I usually get the abs sender out using a angle die grinder with diamond bit 😊
I need to get myself a decent battery die grinder!
