I saw Landry fields at church when he was on the raptors. It was Evangle Temple at Yonge and York Mills. Also ran into Charles Barkley in Yorkville once but that was somehow less random since he's in Toronto like every summer.
How is Embiid not the answer for the star under the most pressure? He's never made it out of the second round despite supposedly being one of the best players in the NBA. This will be the best supporting cast he's ever had. People always chalk it up to injuries with him, but he's had awful series even when he was supposed to be healthy. His numbers have consistently fallen off a cliff in the playoffs. If PG is out or something, maybe he'll get a pass. But if everyone is healthy and they don't make the conference finals, the noise around him is going to be deafening. And he has to play well individually too. He can't do his typical 2 pts and 3 turnovers in the 4th quarter of every important game. Btw, I saw three separate big TH-camrs make videos about how he was under the most pressure. It's not an original take, but sometimes the obvious take is the right one.
I used to see Melo frequently at a restaurant near me that had a stellar wine list. Ed Davis used to eat at the restaurant I worked at. He'd come with his whole family and they were tremendous people. I ate dinner at a James Beard Italian restaurant I frequent and Boban and Gallo were sitting right next to our table. I was so excited to meet Boban that I felt like a kid on Christmas morning brimming with fizz to open presents. They were both very kind and Boban was lovely to talk to. Shaking his hand felt like I was shaking hands with a leaf rake.
