    Actually a pretty good comparison, but a few things left out that are In my opinion worth considering. Suspension ride quality, the Mule floats like a pillow and is amazing how smooth it is, the Honda does ride pretty good but you can tell little more sporty focus. Noise, the Mule is whisper quiet vs the Honda. Warranty, Honda 1 year, Kawasaki 3 year. While both the Kawi and Honda plants are in the US, Kawasaki wins the "American made" award, with the list of parts made in house much much longer then the Hondas. I know he did say the Mule has a bigger bed, but, it is ALOT bigger. Both SxS's are very capable and fun to drive, both are very reliable. The doors are much nicer then the nets on the Honda as well, Every rancher I know gets rid of the nets, but love the doors. I did love how he emphasized how much tougher the build quality is on the Mule because 1 look at the frame and axles speaks loud and clear it's meant to beat on for decades. In a flat our drag race the Honda will walk the Mule, but as he stated in the hills the Mules much higher torque really closes the gap on the trail. Good comparison.

      Your last comment of your extremely biased response shows a lack of intelligence. So somebody has a different opinion than you do. So what. Who cares? If you were trying to sway people to the pioneer, you failed with your stupidity. I’d be surprised if you actually owned either machine, yet alone both. Just another entitled whiner baby who gets offended because someone has a different OPINION. Opinion being the key word here. It’s like you take personal offense to a different view than your own... Sad.

      The one most extremely valuable components to the build of the Honda is that the transmission is gear on gear heavy duty automobile style and not belt-driven like your Kawasaki or any other side by side!🤦

    • @HesterEdition
      @HesterEdition 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@gonzobongo6669 which is all well and good but based of the hondas transmission history, massivly expensive when it does go down. We know, have replaced several on 700s, handfull of 1000s and talons now. All or them you have to figure total engine builds as well because of material contamination, 3 oil pumps, rings, hone cylinder or replace if damaged etc etc. We have seen several 700's the oil pump chain fail and total engine catastrophic failure after that. CVTs, $150 (or less) belt and an hour or less (depending on vehicle) and back at it. Are cvts the best? No, is the hondamatic the best? No. It's give and take with each. Comes down to, how much do you want to spend to repair when they do go. 👍

      @@HesterEdition Well in your opinion which would you go with- 2016 Honda Pioneer 700 @$7,999 or a 2010 Kawasaki Teryx 750 fi @ $6,999? The Honda 700 I was looking at just had a top end engine rebuilt & I wonder if that included work on the transmission when the dealership did the top end, the same dealership has the 2010 Kawasaki Teryx 750 fi for sale & it's $1,000 less, I could probably talk them down a few more hundred dollars

    We tested the 6 seaters of both models. We went with the Kawasaki since it was quieter (we talk when we ride and my hearing isnt the best), it drives like a car, and it has the transitional seating/bed. The engine heat in the back seat of the Honda was rough after riding for a while and we work in the heat. The heat in the Kawasaki is located in the front by the feet. I dont like it but for us it was the better option.
    If we did off roading or wanted more performance or a sportier feeling ride, we would've gone with the Honda. But ours is 80% for work around the ranch and 20% riding country roads after dinner.

    A Honda designed and built engine and a Honda built non-cvt transmission is something that was not mentioned or glazed over. Kawasaki makes some of the best small engines ever made. For the Mule, they contract a Chinese engine.

    • @actionjackson5086
      @actionjackson5086 ปีที่แล้ว

      That did concern us but I met several ranchers with more than 15k miles on their engines. One of them had almost 20k. I didn't find anyone with any issues. We ended up going with the Mule Pro. We've had zero problems but we've had it for 4 days. 😂
      The Honda is excellent, but it outperformed the Kawasaki in areas that don't fit our needs.

      I own both and the honda out works and out plays the kawi. Sorry guys theres no way it can compete with 72hp and lower gears and more suspension travel and better build quality and 250 lbs lighter. The honda whoops it bad. But my bruteforce whoops the rubicon 500 just as bad in work and play. I only own honda and kawasaki. Have a mule a teyrx a bruteforce a pioneer a talon and rubicon 500. I bought all of them in 2019 at the same time. 80k i had the option to buy a new work truck for 80k or buy the toys i said fuck it ill never have to buy another off road toy for the rest of my life now. Ill keep my old beater work truck and i guess ill buy a new f350 when i can or when this truck shits the bed. I make around 700 dollars a day after taxes with my carpentry job.

Anyone who would waste their money on buying a bunch of UTV’s is either incredibly stupid, or just an incredibly stupid liar. These machines are not a good investment and anyone who thinks its impressive to brag that they bought a bunch of them for no apparent reason is either a child or a complete idiot. The biggest thing you left out is the Honda is way more durable because of its gear transmission, if you get your belt wet or slippery conditions your belt will slip if you’re pulling something heavy. If you get stuck in the mud and your belt gets wet it will slip and your tires won’t even spin. And you lose 40% of your horsepower in a belt transmission, that’s what they don’t tell you in the description

I have one that neither the dealer nor a talented small engine repair person can fix. Yes Kawasaki offers competitive features but if the engine doesn't work right, all that is moot.

      Cory R i dont know where u get the tourque figure from kawi does not advertise it. On a dyno the mule got 40 foot lbs of tourque the pioneer got 56 foot lbs of tourqe. The honda gear on gear transfer energy much much better than rubber belt. Plus it has much more power and two 500cc cylinders. Compared to 3 smaller cylinders. The kawi made the tourqe at 1000 rpm lower in the power band so you win there. But the honda low gear seems lower but it has 6 gears so it goes just as fast in low. And honda build quality and geometry means it can be lighter weight and tow haul just as much. And not have to carry around excess fat with tbe under powered engine like the kawi. Really i own both and in no way does the mule beat the honda. The 10 inch longer bed is a moot point. Sorry to burst your bubble but you bought the wrong machine if u dont have cash to spare like i do. I could buy 4 mules in diff colors if i want.

      If you need a pack of horses with a bigger bed, get the kawasaki, mine does 49 mph top speed on the trails, I can seat 6 people in my ranch, and get any work done and pull anything around the farm I need to, if you want to go fast, jump mogels, climb mountains, climb trees with light work and carry 2 people, get the Honda, but you can carry 5 people, the other 3 need to be kids, I have both, both are reliable, both are fun and most trails won't let you get crazy fast anyways, when my friends go hunting on my land with all their gear, the Honda has to stay behind, they hate the back seats and it won't hold much gear. Just my 2 cents, both are different from each other in good ways, but if I had to choose, kawasaki does more, just a little slower!

    Why buy ether? For 10k less you could buy an old toyota tacoma with air conditioning a biger bed and its street legal not to mention it will last longer than both a the utvs.

      And it wont go anywhere these smaller utv can go. And utv are street legal and they are open air. And they weigh alot less. And a honda pioneer that is taken care of will last 50k miles of off road use. Lets see a tacoma put 50k miles off road hard use. Then lets see how much it cost to fix it when u try to go where i take my lil sxs
