    As someone who has to rent a mobility scooter when I go to places like this, thank you for producing these videos. It's a unique perspective and very helpful; keep up the good work!

      You are welcome, when we first started, there is not a lot of stuff out there for people with disabilities and the challenges we go through. There is content out there, but not a ton. We will continue to provide as much info as we can.

      Can you recommend something to stick on scooter to tell it apart from others

    Here's an animal... BULL. My wife and I were there a year ago and Animal Kingdom is the most wheelchair UNFRIENDLY park in Disney, if not Florida. In an effort to look "native" the park designers stamped all sorts of things into all the paths: animal tracks, leaves, bicycle trails, footprints, etc., all of which are a nightmare for wheelchair wheels. It was the roughest and most difficult time we ever had with her chair.

      Thanks for letting us know. I’m sorry you guys had a bad time on your last visit. I use a power chair and did not notice. the focus of this video was on the rides themselves. What kind of chair were you guys using? I would imagine manual chair would have a rougher time. We will try to keep that in mind for our future videos to let people know and be aware of ground and routes between the rides. -A

    Can't thank you enough for this video I have been looking for years for someone to just show the dang transfer process up close. My disability is very weird on what I am capable of doing and what I am not capable of doing. I do not live close to the parks but now that i know exactly what I could get on the trip seems worth it now, so thanks again keep up the good work!

    This might actually be your best produced video yet. So slick!
    I might be a little biased butExpedition Everest is obviously the best. My mind is slightly blown by that Triceratops though, what a well designed ride vehicle! No words for Navi River Journey. There really is no excuse for that.

      Awe thanks! We’re trying to get a little more fancy. 🥰 I’ll let Aadam respond on the ride debate but I like FOP much better - but I’m also not a roller coaster girl. -B

    Navi River Journey FAIL. I hate that they don’t have a wheelchair accessible vehicle! Great video as always and hurray for the safari.

      We will have to try to find a way to get on it one day. It is a shame that they have not figured out a way to make it more accessible. -Aadam

      You are so welcome! We love that these are helping people get out there. It was so scary when we started traveling. We just want to make the videos we wished we could find.

    Great video! Where in AK can you recharge your power chair? It would be convenient if it was somewhere close to a dining location.

      Many of the indoor locations (restaurants, shows) will be able to help you but you'll need to talk to a cast member and explain what you need. If you can transfer to a chair and have someone else take it to the outlet, you could have it charging while you watch a show or have a meal.

    how do they handle the legs on flight of passage. ? i cannot have something clamp around mine

    • @Imaginary.Lemons
      @Imaginary.Lemons  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Your feet are not clamped or restrained. they rest on floor. It is like you are on a motorcycle, each move in sync on separate platforms.
