At last, it's here! I cannot thank you enough for asking me if you could dub this and bringing the comic to life. It's been a long four months but the wait was well worth it. Even while watching the video editing myself I was so excited! The voice acting in this is just beyond mind-blowing, everyone did a stellar job. Even though I've heard it before the video came out, it still gives me the same feelings as when I first heard it. HUGE thank you to Carlos for the visual effects, they really add to the voices; and thank you to Disney for her help with some of the art and being an awesome friend. I know the process to complete this has been a long and challenging one, but it was WORTH it. I can't sing my praises enough about you guys. I hope everyone else enjoys it too! Brilliant job, guys! And thank you again!

I don't think that Al is actually scared or nervous when Angel attacks him. I just think he's more shocked or taken aback by Angel's reaction, and also cause he realises in the end when Angel grabs his neck and tells him off, that he has in fact gone a bit too far. Canonically I could easily see Al having a reaction like this in the show at some point. Vivienne has also stated in one of her streams that at some point, all the characters will get some form of 'wake-up call' of themselves, down the road.
I just think Alastor is so obnoxious he didn’t consider that Angel was able to reach a level where he’d attack. I Can see why, Ángel is a literal sub, but he still has limits.

As someone who thought was gonna lose their pet in an awful way, you've captured the emotions perfectly at the end. That's *exactly* how I was when I thought I lost my li'l boy. Don't worry, he's safe and sound. But the way you've captured Angel's emotions was a hit on the head. Awesome job!
I like how Alastor looked shocked and confused when Angel attacked him. Alastor clearly expected Angel to be sad or fearful, not angry and aggressive. It seems like no sinner who isn't an Overlord has ever fought back against him. Getting knocked down must have shattered the foundation of whatever superiority complex Alastor must have.

Try to kill a Overlord because you made a bad deal is one thing, but try to kill one like that is new for someone as Alastor. Is like being a god, making your own rules and someone defy you because you made his child trip

He was completely unconcerned about Angel's attack because he could kill angel with an errant thought, and Angel doesn't have a single soul to his name, save his own, so he couldn't do anything to protect himself. The sheer audacity of the attack, if nothing else, probably shocked Alastor. Basically thinking, "Oh wow, this REALLY pushed your buttons if you'd do something this blatantly suicidal. How.... unexpected." And then he seems taken aback when Angel goes to hug Nuggy so tight.
@@perrycarters3113 I do kind of have to agree with you there. Now, in Al's final panel, he does look very... I guess remise would be the word I'm looking for, but it's hard to grasp what Al is thinking or feeling at that moment. He could be feeling any number of things at once. I want to believe he did have the slightest bit of guilt over what he did, but Al could also be feeling frustrated that he didn't get his point across to Angel or defeated given that he DID get tackled to the floor without expecting it. Regardless, I can't help but think Al got ever so slightly humbled by this attack. Even if his only thought was "Damn. I miscalculated."
What I gather from Alastor’s shocked reaction is two things 1) He didn’t realize how much Angel actually cared about Nugsy. He knew that Angel cared about his pig, that’s why he did the prank, but he didn’t fathom how upset be would be if something were to happen to his pet. And 2) Alastor doesn’t comprehend the complexity of emotions. When Angel started crying Alastor didn’t skip a beat. That’s what he wanted, because he’s a cruel and sadistic character. And when Alastor attacked him he was caught off guard but he was more angry than surprised. It was when he saw that Angel was still crying that he snapped out of his demon form. He understands anger, and he understands sadness, but he doesn’t understand having those two feelings at the same time and what that means. I really like how they wrote Alastor in this scene. He feels very true to how he’s portrayed in all other Hazbin media. And I think the bits they add on make sense with his character and don’t feel like fan fiction
this feeling is called the pain of loss. And apparently, Alastor never feels this feeling on himself, but he has seen it in others. (I definitely haven’t studied the biography of the Persian, I don’t really know, but I’m looking at the Khazbin Hotel)
Alastor is pretty close to a psychopath (likely not researched for the show, but it's alluded to with his actions and prior "occupation"). He absolutely doesn't understand the sentimental connection to something like a pet (given that a lot of serial killer/psychopaths tend to start hurting animals in their childhood, it's a common sign something is wrong) so I agree. He DOES know that animosity in the hotel from anyone doesn't benefit him, and he's a cannibal, so he'd prefer to eat other demons/humans. Psychopaths tend to read emotions very well, but they do not connect to them (Cognitive vs emotional empathy. Basically reverse of autism spectrum empathy based issues.). They see them as cues for getting what they want out of an interaction or a nuisance. They themselves tend to have pretty basic shallow emotional depth. Many also have weird moral compasses, which Vivzie has stated he also has. It likely confuses Alastor that someone could be so protective and emotional about an animal. Especially given that he's shown to like stimulating conversation and values intelligence, something he'd definitely think animals do not have. Definitely agree with your sentiments. I wasn't sure if this was gonna be a comedy thing or what not, but it ends on an uncomfortable note, which it absolutely would in circumstances like this.

I'm almosy speechless, this comic is rough, I dare say it's one of the harsher comics out there just from a writing standpoint, but but once again the DJ not only got a crew together to design it to not only be captivating, but to actually hit all the right cords in voice acting, dialog prep and execution, and that DELIVERY man! Perfect!
The original comic is brilliantly in-character; it feels like reading something that could be canon. The video and audio work are top notch, too. I absolutely loved it.
Yeah, whoever came up with that prank has zero empathy (I'm guessing Alastor), and whoever went along with it needs their head adjusted (sorry, Charlie and Vaggie, ya done fucked up wildly). Like, fuuuuuck, what were y'all thinking??? There's pranks, and then there's psychological torture. Edit: other comments pointed out that Charlie and Vaggie probably didn't know about the eating part of the prank, which makes complete sense, as this seemed so far beyond anything they would agree with.
It almost looks like after Angel runs and hugs Fat Nuggets, Alastor looks... surprised. In a gentle way. Like he has never loved something like that or that much. Wonderful voice acting! Such emotion! And the editing is superb. Love this!!!
Alastor would just say. " That was heart warming, now who wants dinner!" It scares me because he doesn't exactly care for anyone else's feelings unless they benefit him in any way.
tbf I think he does care abt ppl but he jsut dosent like showing it bcz of what every1 knows him 4, bcz in the pilot when Charlie is upset abt her mother Angel goes to say something after he commented on how the hotel wasn’t going well but stopped himself, I think he does care but just dosent like 2 show it x
You know, i was thinking of suggesting this comic, but i didnt because i was too afraid to. Because for those who saw this comic know what happens and since our youtuber here is a profesional voice actor will probably make the dub so good that it will actually be scary.
Hit all the emotional marks. This kind of passion and work is why this show needs these kinds of projects between the seasons... they feel as much a part of the canon universe as anything. I'm constantly surprised by the work, talent and passion that HH seems to bring out of terrific artists such as yourself and the team behind this project. Hell, even I started a novel thanks to HH being one hell of a muse. Thanks again!
Can we admit that Angels pranks never were harmless but the gangs prank was actually very sick, and scared him by thinking they took away the only thing he loved?

I cried once angel got nuggets back and stuff. You don't know how the little things and the beings that keep us happy in our life means until you lose them or don't have them. And if you know what that's like to have someone precious and you lose the current major precious being in your life, the utter fear and dread of going back to being so hurt and lonely just makes the loss exceptionally painful. I cried because of past experiences. You don't mess with loved ones.

Angel's pranks were harmless. What they did was seriously fucked up! I wouldn't be surprised if Angel left the Happy Hotel after that. All trust (if there was any) would've been completely shattered. 😞
Too be fair, we don't know that Charlie and Vaggie were actually in on it. It just doesn't seem in character for Charlie to do something this cruel. It's possible that this was all completely Alastor's doing.
So there's a sequel to this comic and apparently Angel refuses to leave the hotel because he fears and hates Val more than anything Alastor could do to him

Alastor: "For once I agree with Miss Vagatha... But don't worry, I won't hurt either of them. Physically." Charlie: "-ah, right..."
Alastor surely is interesting.He had enough power to crush Angie.But his reaction of Angel just getting a mental brakedown and Angle not even realising he is trying to knock out an overlord due to anger. (anger really drops your IQ,however gives extra energy strength ,endurance,stamina).Al was not afraid but was surprised.

yea it's cool but doesn't make sense since Alastor doesn't really care for people and is supposed to be a complete sociopath so it doesn't make sense that he would feel bad for Angle

The attention to detail in this is incredible, not just the voices, but the hall sounds and the speed of the object interactions, even angel’s “What if” stutter causing the text to reappear. This was incredible to watch and listen to!

Yes i know he ripped up the pig butcher but he was prepared for a fight, and in his demonic form but this time Angel got the drop on him and you can't think clearly when somebody is strangling you. So i do feel like Al was in some sort of danger there
This wouldnt affect Alastor canonically in no way, He’s been pushed by Husker and easily brushed it off even with a smile even held with a spear at his throat, If anything he’d be smiling with no regret
I think it was also that for a being like him, seeing someone who was genuinely not afraid of him or what he could do was shocking and maybe in the smallest way, frightening. Yes he could beat Angel in any fight, but to not be afraid of what happens to you because you have nothing left to lose is something terrifying. It gives someone power. And it is a power Alastor will probably never know since he cant love from what we know.
3:51 "You took away the only thing I ever loved, all because of a F*** PRANK?!" Angel's voice had so much raw emotion and pain, which shows how much fat nuggets mean to him; it was so heartbreaking to hear that pain in his voice.
Damn...I teared up when Angel saw that Nugs was okay and ran to him...I felt that pain and panic, and the relief and vows that Nugs wouldn't leave... It's a lot like the panic from Blitz over the pug reminding him of Loona. This hit far harder than it needed to.
These are definitely canonical reactions. The voice acting is perfect, phenomenal, and emotive. It's so raw, and the characters are captured perfectly. Bravo! 👏

Feel like Alastor would laugh still And not feel any guilt seeing how he's really messed up in the head And how it's obvious he's manipulating Charlie about the hotel and stuff
In the show he totally nukes a demon that annoyed him. I don't think Angel would have been able to lay a hand on him. Kind of down plays that Alaster is one of the most powerful demons in all hell.

As Mirza said, he is capable of more emotions and characterization then just psychopath. Don't get me wrong, he is insane, but he's more third-dimensional then just that. (Even Vivzie has said he has a moral compass. A strange & twisted one, but one nonetheless.) Plus, I imagine most of these are after he's spent some time at the Hotel, and maybe has had some influence from Charlie and the others.
Personally I think making him soft or having a emotional attachment ruins the idea of being a dangerous psychotic demon he is Because he stooped that low and that evil But idk feel like if he did something worse like destroying Charlie whole operation/dream Then feeling guilty, I think that's the time for the whole guilty thing or something that makes him have some strong emotional attachment from his human life Like rape, abuse, dogs, parents, disrespect Cuz he in the olden times fancy dude and what not I like to think of alastaor as a real life psychopath or a mary bell Feel like it's more entertaining to make it much more harder to make him care About other people who doesn't fit his standards on interest
Every character in this show is gonna be three-dimensional. Otherwise the show would be quite boring. Writing a character as "just a psychopath" with no other trait other that "is an asshole who doesn't care" isn't gonna make a good character. Characters who are completely deranged still have complex morals and feelings. Even the Joker has his limits, I'm sure Alastor will also see when he went way to far.
Now THAT is messed up. Fat Nuggets is like Angel's only happiness source from what he has to go through with Valentino, a "prank" like this is awful ):

I don’t think alastor was worried or surprised by Angel’s reaction but when he saw angel being serious he was rather excited or expectant of seeing the development of the situation, for those that thought he was sweating or something you’ve got it wrong those were angels tears on his face
Actually I think he definitely would be taken aback by the response. Keep in mind he hasn't known them for too long (besides Husk and Nifty of course)and would only know certain quirks about everyone. So if this were the actual case I think he definitely would be a little surprised. Of course he would never be in actual danger considering his power but he'd definitely be a little shocked.

Not gonna lie, when Angel said "Nuggsy?" I got major Cuphead vibes because it sounded like when Cuphead calls his brother "Mugsy". Which had me realize, you could probably do pretty dang good Cuphead comic dubs too. Anyway, this dub was incredible and so worth the wait! You and the other voice actors put an incredible amount of emotion into your roles,-especially you as Angel, oh my gosh poor Angel broke my heart-and the visual editing is just, chef's kiss, love it! Everyone involved did an incredible job!
Why does this feel real...like...why do I feel like something similar will happen in the show just as a filler episode. My god this comic is incredible. Please tell the person who made this comic that this is incredible!
The choice of the song “heartache” is so interesting! It’s the type of music alastor would like to listen to, the literal title of “heartache” and the ominous effect for the melody that makes it sound more like “a burning memory”… you’re extremely talented🙏
There are pranks, and then there's just plain cruelty. I'm not surprised Alastor doesn't know the difference lol. Glad Nugs was safe in the end. Great content, I'm only two videos in and I'm hooked.
OK, LOOK: if someone is visibly crying and upset from a prank, that's when you need to call it off. But honestly, you can't even call that a prank, that was just flat out mean!!
I actually started crying bc it seems Nuggs is Angel's emotional support animal that he has and needs for what he's been going through. I know how he feels about losing something that you have for support purposes from trauma. I connect to characters too easily bro-

Real moral of story: Don't EVER mess with powerful people that aren't even your friend. I genuinely doubt if someone besides Al did this prank he would believe it. Which raises the question, if he knows Al is sadistic enough to pull such a prank, why he even pranked Al in the first place? He should be grateful that radio demon didn't actually ate his pet, because no one could or would stop Al if he did.
If Al would have been the one that killed my friend instead of an electric fence, I would have gotten so pissed I would have probably transcended Lucifer in power
That scream Angel did... I know it's fan made but dude... You have some PIPES on you. That scream is utter agony from the deepest depths of one's soul. Something no one should ever have to endure. Not even once. "Seeing Red" doesn't come even remotely close to the level of utter agony that scream has behind it. Alastor put Angel in his place, but he came closer than ever in his AFTERLIFE to crossing the line. I had a HUGE hunch he was toying with Angel to teach him a lesson as only a complete sadist can, but he forgot one thing: You take something away from someone that they hold dear? They will NOT hesitate to kill you. It's a primal thing. We may have progressed as a species, but that primal stuff will always be inside us. Don't give it an excuse to be set loose. Otherwise you'll wake up covered in blood.
It as if Angel was willing to die, even knowing how powerful Alastor can be in his demon form, just to prove how much he loved Nuggs, and Alastor was shocked. The concept of someone who was willing to confront him regardless of how scared they were, it took more courage than Alastor could ever show. That's what took him back.
I always thought of angel as the funny one, to see him so sad was heartbreaking.. Both here, in a comic I saw, ADDICT, poison, and episode 4.. I realized how hurt angel dust really is. 😭😭
Canonically Alastor still would be smiling and not give any care. He’s murdered countless of demons and humans, a pig wouldnt be in his top ten lists of cares. Thats just how sadistic he is, and truthfully I dont think Angel would even have the chance to wrap his hands around his neck for so long, Al doesnt like being touched

Alastor clearly has no Compassion or any remorse for his actions. Actually most demons in hell don’t have remorse for their actions because hell is basically like a big playground where everyone can let out their life-long-built-up anger on anyone without consequence.
I’ve seen other TH-cam videos of this comic, but this one is the best. It truly captures the emotion of all the characters, and the situation they are in.
I love this comic! Never take Fat Nuggets away from Angel, you’ll be sorry! It’s just like any good pet owner would react if their dog or cat or any other animal went missing. Also, awesome voice acting as always!
That's some phenominal voice acting work, especially on Angel, holy crap. Also, great work from the artist, and especially the editing to make the images and sounds blend together so well! EDIT: keep comin' back to this to appreciate the high quality put into this.
This is too true. If someone does a lot of HARMLESS pranks, pay em back with a *HARMLESS* prank. Not some messed up prank that will traumatize them. This is a good example of this👍
it was a prank that realistically was on the same level with all the other angel dust pranks (specifically all pranks combined), killing the pig tho would be on a whole different game.

This was so beautifully edited. I love how the comic moves, almost like a still movie but its still moving!! And the voice acting finishes the immersion. I enjoy your comics. It gives them more life than when I found them and read them myself.
Damn I cried reading the comic before this and now, I'm balling. I admire how many layers of sound you put into these comic dubs, not only that but the visuals and transitions are on point as well! ANOTHER MASTERPIECE! Fantastic job PARANOiD DJ!

Dude even though this comic has a dark feel, I love the fact that when angel screams at alastor, you can see his "freckles" open into eyes. This is actually Canon and I love the inclusion of it
You can say that if someone seems upset with it that it's not a bad idea to simply ask if you are for them with their personal experiences taking it too far. Pranks are such a grey area activity in that sense. It all comes down to, does the person doing the pranks entertainment out weight the relative comfort of those around them. At what point does a prank become purely selfish as emotions on either side are valued and weighed? Especially given that pranks are meant to either get a bit of a rise out of others, or best case scenario, have them laugh with the prankster. Alastor definitely took it too far. But we also know Alastor doesn't care.
holy crap, the voice acting, the sound effects, the animations, the music, its beautiful. It's almost like you're there WITH the characters FEELING they're emotions only by a picture and vocals, beautifully done, it feels almost like it was in the actual show.
At 2:30 , the song playing is called 'Heartaches'. For anyone who knows the album 'Everywhere at the End of Time' (By the Caretaker), 'Heartaches' was the original version of the first song in the album, 'Its Just a Burning Memory'. if you listen closely, you can hear that they're using mostly the same tune, except 'Heartaches' is faster, and has the lyrics, which 'It's Just a Burning Memory' does not. I hope that anyone who's a fan of the Album finds this fact Interesting, and I wish them a good day.
P.S. I'm not saying that The Caretaker copied 'Heartaches', he merely took the background Melody and transformed the piece into ''Its Just a Burning Memory' (In my opinion, I actually prefer The Caretaker's Burning Memory song over 'Heartaches')

This seems like a thing that would actually happen in the show :0 i love how Alastor still showed to be much stronger than Angel but still let him attack
I never realized the marks under Angel's eyes were.... more eyes. him being a spider makes perfect sense, I was just impressed with the detail. Alastor reacting the way he did when Angel's eyes glowed with pure rage could be one of two things. 1. The pure anger and hatred might have impressed him 2. He sensed something deep within. A power with the potential to grow.
Alastor has a lot of smiles- mainly because he doesn't have another expression because he sees it as a sign of strength. There's a usual smile, curious, faint one that shows sadness, and then there's the smile when he saw Nuggs and AD together
It would be awesome to hear a cover of “it’s just a burning memory” with Alastor. It would fit him so well. Just to hear him listening to it made me think about it.

I don't think that Al is actually scared or nervous when Angel attacks him. I just think he's more shocked or taken aback by Angel's reaction, and also cause he realises in the end when Angel grabs his neck and tells him off, that he has in fact gone a bit too far. Canonically I could easily see Al having a reaction like this in the show at some point. Vivienne has also stated in one of her streams that at some point, all the characters will get some form of 'wake-up call' of themselves, down the road.

I like how Alastor looked shocked and confused when Angel attacked him. Alastor clearly expected Angel to be sad or fearful, not angry and aggressive. It seems like no sinner who isn't an Overlord has ever fought back against him.
Getting knocked down must have shattered the foundation of whatever superiority complex Alastor must have.

He was completely unconcerned about Angel's attack because he could kill angel with an errant thought, and Angel doesn't have a single soul to his name, save his own, so he couldn't do anything to protect himself.
The sheer audacity of the attack, if nothing else, probably shocked Alastor. Basically thinking, "Oh wow, this REALLY pushed your buttons if you'd do something this blatantly suicidal. How.... unexpected." And then he seems taken aback when Angel goes to hug Nuggy so tight.
@@perrycarters3113 I do kind of have to agree with you there. Now, in Al's final panel, he does look very... I guess remise would be the word I'm looking for, but it's hard to grasp what Al is thinking or feeling at that moment. He could be feeling any number of things at once.
I want to believe he did have the slightest bit of guilt over what he did, but Al could also be feeling frustrated that he didn't get his point across to Angel or defeated given that he DID get tackled to the floor without expecting it.
Regardless, I can't help but think Al got ever so slightly humbled by this attack. Even if his only thought was "Damn. I miscalculated."

What I gather from Alastor’s shocked reaction is two things
1) He didn’t realize how much Angel actually cared about Nugsy. He knew that Angel cared about his pig, that’s why he did the prank, but he didn’t fathom how upset be would be if something were to happen to his pet.
And 2) Alastor doesn’t comprehend the complexity of emotions. When Angel started crying Alastor didn’t skip a beat. That’s what he wanted, because he’s a cruel and sadistic character. And when Alastor attacked him he was caught off guard but he was more angry than surprised. It was when he saw that Angel was still crying that he snapped out of his demon form. He understands anger, and he understands sadness, but he doesn’t understand having those two feelings at the same time and what that means.
I really like how they wrote Alastor in this scene. He feels very true to how he’s portrayed in all other Hazbin media. And I think the bits they add on make sense with his character and don’t feel like fan fiction
i love it as well. after all he's a serial killer, it would make sense that he would not understand empathy or truly caring about something
this feeling is called the pain of loss. And apparently, Alastor never feels this feeling on himself, but he has seen it in others. (I definitely haven’t studied the biography of the Persian, I don’t really know, but I’m looking at the Khazbin Hotel)
Alastor is pretty close to a psychopath (likely not researched for the show, but it's alluded to with his actions and prior "occupation"). He absolutely doesn't understand the sentimental connection to something like a pet (given that a lot of serial killer/psychopaths tend to start hurting animals in their childhood, it's a common sign something is wrong) so I agree. He DOES know that animosity in the hotel from anyone doesn't benefit him, and he's a cannibal, so he'd prefer to eat other demons/humans.
Psychopaths tend to read emotions very well, but they do not connect to them (Cognitive vs emotional empathy. Basically reverse of autism spectrum empathy based issues.). They see them as cues for getting what they want out of an interaction or a nuisance. They themselves tend to have pretty basic shallow emotional depth.
Many also have weird moral compasses, which Vivzie has stated he also has.
It likely confuses Alastor that someone could be so protective and emotional about an animal. Especially given that he's shown to like stimulating conversation and values intelligence, something he'd definitely think animals do not have.
Definitely agree with your sentiments. I wasn't sure if this was gonna be a comedy thing or what not, but it ends on an uncomfortable note, which it absolutely would in circumstances like this.

And if you know what that's like to have someone precious and you lose the current major precious being in your life, the utter fear and dread of going back to being so hurt and lonely just makes the loss exceptionally painful. I cried because of past experiences. You don't mess with loved ones.

The attention to detail in this is incredible, not just the voices, but the hall sounds and the speed of the object interactions, even angel’s “What if” stutter causing the text to reappear. This was incredible to watch and listen to!

Well he was rather shocked but wanted to keep smiling (for domainience purpose). He was shocked because he never expected angel to be that emotional
I think it was also that for a being like him, seeing someone who was genuinely not afraid of him or what he could do was shocking and maybe in the smallest way, frightening. Yes he could beat Angel in any fight, but to not be afraid of what happens to you because you have nothing left to lose is something terrifying. It gives someone power. And it is a power Alastor will probably never know since he cant love from what we know.
We saw a side of Angel we’d all just as soon not know; if he had a .45 ACP pistol in his hand he certainly would have shot Al with it!

As Mirza said, he is capable of more emotions and characterization then just psychopath. Don't get me wrong, he is insane, but he's more third-dimensional then just that. (Even Vivzie has said he has a moral compass. A strange & twisted one, but one nonetheless.)

Every character in this show is gonna be three-dimensional. Otherwise the show would be quite boring. Writing a character as "just a psychopath" with no other trait other that "is an asshole who doesn't care" isn't gonna make a good character. Characters who are completely deranged still have complex morals and feelings. Even the Joker has his limits, I'm sure Alastor will also see when he went way to far.

I don’t think alastor was worried or surprised by Angel’s reaction but when he saw angel being serious he was rather excited or expectant of seeing the development of the situation, for those that thought he was sweating or something you’ve got it wrong those were angels tears on his face

Actually I think he definitely would be taken aback by the response. Keep in mind he hasn't known them for too long (besides Husk and Nifty of course)and would only know certain quirks about everyone. So if this were the actual case I think he definitely would be a little surprised. Of course he would never be in actual danger considering his power but he'd definitely be a little shocked.
I think in the moment maybe not, but when Angel was hugging Nuggs he was shocked by how much he loved him, giving the fact that Angel's a demon

Not gonna lie, when Angel said "Nuggsy?" I got major Cuphead vibes because it sounded like when Cuphead calls his brother "Mugsy". Which had me realize, you could probably do pretty dang good Cuphead comic dubs too.
Anyway, this dub was incredible and so worth the wait! You and the other voice actors put an incredible amount of emotion into your roles,-especially you as Angel, oh my gosh poor Angel broke my heart-and the visual editing is just, chef's kiss, love it! Everyone involved did an incredible job!

Real moral of story: Don't EVER mess with powerful people that aren't even your friend. I genuinely doubt if someone besides Al did this prank he would believe it. Which raises the question, if he knows Al is sadistic enough to pull such a prank, why he even pranked Al in the first place? That scream Angel did... I know it's fan made but dude... You have some PIPES on you. That scream is utter agony from the deepest depths of one's soul. Something no one should ever have to endure. Not even once. "Seeing Red" doesn't come even remotely close to the level of utter agony that scream has behind it. Alastor put Angel in his place, but he came closer than ever in his AFTERLIFE to crossing the line. I had a HUGE hunch he was toying with Angel to teach him a lesson as only a complete sadist can, but he forgot one thing: You take something away from someone that they hold dear? They will NOT hesitate to kill you. It's a primal thing. We may have progressed as a species, but that primal stuff will always be inside us. Don't give it an excuse to be set loose. Otherwise you'll wake up covered in blood.

It as if Angel was willing to die, even knowing how powerful Alastor can be in his demon form, just to prove how much he loved Nuggs, and Alastor was shocked. The concept of someone who was willing to confront him regardless of how scared they were, it took more courage than Alastor could ever show. That's what took him back.
I always thought of angel as the funny one, to see him so sad was heartbreaking.. Both here, in a comic I saw, ADDICT, poison, and episode 4.. I realized how hurt angel dust really is. 😭😭

Dude even though this comic has a dark feel, I love the fact that when angel screams at alastor, you can see his "freckles" open into eyes. This is actually Canon and I love the inclusion of it
Even Angel knows not to take a prank too far. I mean he didn't hurt anyone physically or emotionally with his own jokes and pranks.
You can say that if someone seems upset with it that it's not a bad idea to simply ask if you are for them with their personal experiences taking it too far. Pranks are such a grey area activity in that sense. It all comes down to, does the person doing the pranks entertainment out weight the relative comfort of those around them. At what point does a prank become purely selfish as emotions on either side are valued and weighed?
Especially given that pranks are meant to either get a bit of a rise out of others, or best case scenario, have them laugh with the prankster.
Alastor definitely took it too far. But we also know Alastor doesn't care.
holy crap, the voice acting, the sound effects, the animations, the music, its beautiful. It's almost like you're there WITH the characters FEELING they're emotions only by a picture and vocals, beautifully done, it feels almost like it was in the actual show.
At 2:30 , the song playing is called 'Heartaches'.
For anyone who knows the album 'Everywhere at the End of Time' (By the Caretaker), 'Heartaches' was the original version of the first song in the album, 'Its Just a Burning Memory'. if you listen closely, you can hear that they're using mostly the same tune, except 'Heartaches' is faster, and has the lyrics, which 'It's Just a Burning Memory' does not.
I hope that anyone who's a fan of the Album finds this fact Interesting, and I wish them a good day.
P.S. I'm not saying that The Caretaker copied 'Heartaches', he merely took the background Melody and transformed the piece into ''Its Just a Burning Memory' (In my opinion, I actually prefer The Caretaker's Burning Memory song over 'Heartaches')

I never realized the marks under Angel's eyes were.... more eyes. him being a spider makes perfect sense, I was just impressed with the detail.
Alastor reacting the way he did when Angel's eyes glowed with pure rage could be one of two things.
1. The pure anger and hatred might have impressed him
2. He sensed something deep within. A power with the potential to grow.

Alastor has a lot of smiles- mainly because he doesn't have another expression because he sees it as a sign of strength. There's a usual smile, curious, faint one that shows sadness, and then there's the smile when he saw Nuggs and AD together
