@@kirkbagliadrums Old TAMA guy myself, those are the only brand of drums I have ever owned. Currently have a 1990 Rockstar DX stuffed away in a closet.
Nice video bro! If possible, and if you still have the main boxes, may I know the sizes of them (lxwxh), I am planing to purchase one but I may need to import it to Mexico and the size/wight will be a good refrende for me to calculate a possible shipping cost. Either way, thank you for doing this very detail video.
I have this kit..if you want next level sound..get rid of the Evans G2 heads and replace them with the Remo clear Ambassadors and tune them higher..Wide open!! No muffling on the toms!!!! Absolutely killer sound!!!!!!!
@@JeserNoob For the most part, yes. Sometimes I’ll do multi-angle drum covers and have to include a camera that can only shoot 1080, so that’s why I’m used to rendering in 1080. This video was all shot in 4k on a Canon R7. It’s an amazing camera!
Nice video Kirk. Beautiful looking and sounding kit. Use it in good health. I think that bass is going to sound great with a PS 3. That EQ 4 sounded a little too papery (that's actually a word believe it or not.) That may be my listening source (a phone) but it will be interesting to see if the PS 3 makes a difference. Best.
@@Rick-m3c I completely agree. PS3 is my go-to kick head. Also with the papery comment. I would recommend listening on something with good low-end response, because it’s definitely a beefy kick - but tbh I feel the same way listening on my phone
I tuned the snare down a bit before taking it on stage and it sounds waayyyyy better than how I had it in this video. Might do a separate video on the snare with a variety of heads and tunings. Would be good practice for me.
@@DrumsTillDeathI have a b/b kit that I tuned low too with the stock heads. It never quite sounded the way I liked it I know for sure most of that was because of the heads and I didn’t know how to tune. But after buying a drum dial and playing with it for a while even with stock heads I found useable sounds. Coated Vintage ambassadors all the way for sure
Perfect choice for live drum kit. Congrats!
They sound great! I love the sound of acrylic kits!
Thank you! These drums project so well on stage
Can confirm this thing looks sick on stage 🥁🤩
agreed!

@@JeserNoob thank you!!

Yeah the stock heads aren’t nothing to write home about. But then again we all knew that
Did you record this in 4K and then render it to 1080? It looks so crisp!!

Beautiful kit, great video tutorial also.
Love Tama
Kick and Snare tuning😖
Definitely agree I have a long way to go toward mastering snare tunings in general. I really like the kick sound though.

I leave in France, is impossible here , to find one
Find in pays-bas
Hey kirk, please send me your second Drum key
@@jcdrums2798 Sorry, gonna need that second one for when I inevitably lose the first

Hate the tuning
To each his own I guess.
