Skied right past my place on Sunrise…. ✌️ Growler next door has a few nasty sections. But lower Ovations has a nice steep 200 yard drop at the bottom…. See ya all in late November! I’ll be on the 100 day club next season.
The glade trails on that side of the mountain are really treacherous honestly. Lots of bushwacking. The ones mid mountain are much better for getting a nice line. Im a personal fan of the three trails where Anarchy is
That's the original entrance to Devil's Den. At some point they moved the entrance down to avoid the cliffs on the upper section. The lower portion is fine.
@collinparsons3363 Yeah I only got to experience that side of the mountain at the end of the season this year after one of their last big storms. The bear mountain lift is always closed when I go. Terrain just seemed to have much more stumps and shrubs than other trails on the mountain. I think they also get a lot of afternoon sun so maybe they just got beat up a little.
Where is missippi av. I have skied every single marked trail at Killington. I have heard people talk about this trail and want to ski it. Also is there really steep trees off of escapade
There are basically good tree skiing zones between superstar all the way over to the Northbrook zone (used to be called glades I think). Ski under the double dipper lift or in the trees there and go left about 30% of the way down, it gets steep and a bit gnarly…aka Mississippi Ave
I will check this zone, been a while, still positive Devil’s Den the gnarliest though, just a hornets nest of snow snakes, small drops and tight trees….go make a pass in this zone and let me know your opinion. 🤙
Nice turns! Steeper than the GoPro makes it look! River at the end always sneaks up on me 😂
Thanks man, it’s pretty hard scrabble in there, definitely survival skiing! 😁

Lower O def a good zone🤙
That is tight!! Made me nervous just watching. Be safe yo!!
Haha not too much room in there, glad I was on my small skis.
that looks difficult😮💨you did great at it though❤keep going🫂
Haha, I will keep trying 😁
I dk if it’s the steepest run but the woods off devils fiddle will make you pucker up

Yeah dude, they are pretty hard scrabble for sure, my favorite for flow are Big Dipper Woods.

@collinparsons3363 I haven’t used the lower entrance, the top entrance is kinda what makes it “Devil’s Den”.

Thx
I did this earlier today. Very bad snow but pretty cool. My dad is Jonathan Celauro.
That’s awesome you skied that zone today, tough skiing in there💪. Your dad is my buddy, tell him I say hey 🤙
Looks like a blue square tree run here At Sugarloaf 😂
Hahaha love it, it ain’t that steep but promise it’s gnarly 🔥come check it for yourself 🤙
Julio rock garden is the “gnarliest”.

You caught it with decent snow. Try it again with less. We found it un-navigable and a pain in the a##.
Yeah, was decent snow when I was there for this vid, I’ve skied it a few times before over the years and it’s always pretty much survival skiing! 😆
What Black Crows ski is that?
Older BC Orbs, one of my favorite shapes, probably about 4 years old.
Love Mississippi Ave....Devils Den AKA Bears Ass needs a shit ton of snow
which peak is this run on?
Bear Mtn; go into woods to the right of Devil’s Fiddle at the top.
Band name?

The West is the Best!! Haha..
The West is certainly softer! 😊
Skiing out west sucks. Nobody knows how to ski out there
Lower Ovation!!!
Lower O is steeper….but definitely not gnarlier! 😆
Lower Ovation is Basically never open ):
@shrtbred787 never open but often skiable 🤫
@@kurtschmid Last time I tried it was roped off again halfway down and a ski patrol guy was waiting there 💀
@shrtbred787 haha yup it’s really easy to spot poachers (gotta nonstop and fly out of there towards Snowdon 😉)
