You forgot the best part about the Understone DLC. After you go through the town and are heading up to the house you come across an arena that closes at both ends and wont open until you defeat all the enemies. However theres a surprisingly high chance when you enter the arena no enemies ever spawn die to a bug. Whats really fun is as soon as you enter the arena the game auto saves, and because you for reasons known only to god cannot manually load a previous save in Fable III, you are now eternally locked in the understone mob arena. You literally just have to abandon your character and restart the whole entire game from the beginning or give up and stop playing all together if this happens. This bug was known within days of the DLC being released yet well over a decade later it still remains unpatched, a literal game ending bug still exists in a DLC which Microsoft still has the audacity to charge real money for. Truly Lionhead's Magnum Opus.

Man, I love Fable 3. I'm not sure why, it's probably just because it has a lot of things I'd like to see in better RPG's like Skyrim, like entire real estate systems, families, relationships with NPC's. I know the game isn't really amazing, but it did have some amazing features that still aren't in a lot of AAA games today.
I love it, too. I've a lot of fun with the game (outside of the stupid Road To Rule). I love the environments. The NPCs feel more realistic than previous games, as do their dynamics with each other. I loved 2s dynamics too, but 3 feels like it has real characters in a lived world. Leveling up powers is a nightmare, as is buying things like ability to buy property and businesses. The game has dependencies on multiplayer, so after closure of games for windows live, pc game has an unopenable demon door without mods. Other than that, I love 3.
Fable 3 even with all of its flaws has one big advantage over 90% of other modern games today. Fable 3, like the previous two games, was made with soul and developers put their hearts in it. That’s why despite all of its problems, we still love Fable 3. Waiting for Fable 4 more than ever.
"Another revolution has failed. Perhaps it's as it should be. I don't know that I could ever have given up such power." This line alone made Commander Milton a compelling antagonist. A revolutionary well aware of the fact that power corrupts and that he probably wouldn't have been able to resist giving in to flaws inherent to most humans.
Commander Milton is also interesting in that if you're good, he's evil. He's not revolting for a cause, but because he hates the idea of monarchy in and of itself - not a stable reason to get rid of it.

Your way of explaining the story with your own witty quips in between elevates the absolutely mid-tier game to the point I want to install it but then I remember it's Fable 3..
There's a hidden mechanic in this game called Primal. It (similarly to the Purity scale in Fable II) accounts for every choice the player makes that could be considered a form of corruption of ethics, such as having multiple spouses, cheating, whoring, heavy drinking and, of course, renting houses at abusive rates. So if you ever wonder why your maxed-out Good character has that sickly green-ish skin tone, there's your answer (High Morality, High Primal). Basically, the game acknowledges you breaking the economy through real-estate, even though the drawbacks are purely cosmetic (also your tenants will most likely hate you).
Understone is OK it can feel like a bit of a chore with the combat but I find the overall premise charming. Traitor's Keep is probably my favorite part of Fable III it's a bit weird as an isolated prison island but finding all of the secrets and hidden paths through the area is nice.
Plot twist is fun in Traitor's Keep. Even though the warning signs of the twist are there on the second playthrough, you don't really pay attention to them on the first go. Understone could be utilised more, as in they could be part of the rebellion and our family could've been why they've been driven underground (beyond some guy thinking doom is coming). Say, we get explicit confirmation that the millionaire built the town to safeguard people from. The doom that Theresa unleashed after building and using the Spire. Still, a fun little section of the game, with added business opportunities XD
I had never played the DLC until last year. I had no idea they existed so it was really nice having new Fable to play in 2022 even if some of it was lackluster. The traitor’s keep was actually super solid
funny thing i learned after beating fable 3. i kept all of the promises and had no gold in the coffers for defending the people at the end game, so everyone died. but that's completely fine because when you do any kind of job THE GAME SPAWNS IN NPCS TO CLAP AT YOU. yknow that no death thing, sure it takes away your progress towards getting stronger when you die. But it has also taken away the need to get stronger, frankly as lame as it would be losing gold would have more meaning than losing your guild seals. You need gold to get more gold to win because you need money, power, and probably women to get the ending based on your morality. Ah yes the let me buy your house and then you can pay me the king rent on Xbox I was a loan shark and invested into other people's world I get 50% of there rent in definitely or they have to buy my share of the house later on one by one either way I make huge profits
Jesus christ it's so disappointing i can't even compute
I think Aurora was the bestt dlc whole new map
Aurora is not DLC. It is part of the main questline. But I understand why you think this. It's three locations off the coast of the mainland. It has a very different setting. It feels like extra. I wish they expanded upon the main game and turned it into DLC, it would have rivalled that of the other games. Especially the Crawler sequence.
