So happy to have father Mark Mary!!
It’s a wonderful book! Totally accessible and worth re-reading again and again. This podcast is so great because I get to see the Dominicans and the Franciscan together. You all make me smile. Doesn’t get much better.
Love the book. Well written and practical. Great to see you guys together! We're blessed with such devoted Father's.
Yes, we aren't promised happiness...I've never known it...but having a respite from suffering at anytime, is the peace of Christ that He offered.
God Bless you three Fathers. You are all awesome!

Fr. Mark Mary is by whom I knew Godsplanning and Tomistic Institute by his invitation to Fr. Gregory Pine to Ascension Presents.
Now Fr. Pine "corresponded" the Invitation. Well Done Fathers!
Great to see Fr. Mark-Mary was a guest here! Learned about Godsplaining because Fr. Mark guested Fr. Pine in several short episodes of Ascension Presents. Awesome!!!

31:10 Closing remarks
I have not tried to pursue happiness but I am content in my life which does include 4-times a day some type of prayer. One of those prayer times is sitting with my Lord.
I have a question. If I am content with the life and have full trust in God's will and principals I am following even thou the hardship happend lately. Is it enough to ask God for strength in my own words or do I have to follow the prayers? I have no other need than strength. Is it enough thou? I bearly even ask for strength, I think it's trust but I might be wrong.
Adding to this. I don't value happiness at all.
