Anytime Chelsea gets air time I'm good with it. Her and Michin are my 2 favorite lower end female wrestlers in WWE.
Adding Chelsea to the segment last night was brilliant and Roxanne's mic work is getting better. Last night was probably the best Roxanne was on the mic ever. Her pacing was good and it didn't feel rushed. Who cares if the audience was into it or not? It set up the rest of the segment well. We all knew that the audience was waiting for Giulia to come out. The pivot to Chelsea was brilliant and it worked.
No Roxanne 🎤 work not getting better she’s still 🗑️ on it plus she’s not a heel and don’t have the look for heel. She’s not believable at all. She’s a babyface and they’re shoving her down our throats.
@@qlee2385Look at the NXT videos on TH-cam each week and see how many views Roxanne gets and how many the rest of the segments do. Roxanne and Giulia 's segment with Chelsea last night already surpassed Joe Hendry's full segment from the prior week. Roxanne is an anchor on NXT and people like her. If she's not your cup of tea, that is fine. Others still enjoy her on the show.
yes, the crowd is dead cuz this has probably been like her 4th time she is doing the "addressing the state of the women's division" promo, but this has 100% been her best delivery of all of them

I think he was referring to when Roxy was on the mic. But I think the audience was just tense because they knew Giulia was coming out and a couple of rude people just wanted to see Giulia.

Roxxy is a pro. We forget she's relatively new to being a heel. And it's not her personality. So her being able to keep a cool head and in character is great.

I am always entertained when Chelsea Green is on my TV
I think NXT would benefit from going on the road more often. The wrestlers would learn more performing in front of bigger and different crowds. At least once or twice a month they should go to arenas with about 1,000 seats, rather than the 400 of the PC, and in different towns. That would be great for the performers and for the show.
They will send out some of the talents that are ready to dark matches on the main roster. They did it with many talents that eventually got called up. What the average NXT talent needs to consistency and development on the fundamentals first. Those that are ready should travel to the main roster to work with pros to test where they are. Traveling with the PLEs is enough I think for the NXT roster. Those that are potentially ready get that opportunity in larger areas and can get comfortable to travel. And those that are getting ready to move up can just go to some main roster shows for dark matches. I think it works.
That why they are sending selected talent every time TNA has TV and PPV. Same for NOAH with Tavion and Briggs. So they took notice about it and use the partnership to let the NXT talent learning different stuff outside of the PC
They are for the First Shows on CW in Chicago All State Arena and St Louis!

100% Chelsea stole that segment. So entertaining. You could tell the level differences between talent in that segment
I think Chelsea was extra excited to work with Giulia again. You can tell Roxanne and Chelsea were well prepared for that segment. If you rewatch it you can see how they didn't really miss much. Hit their cues and got to their spots. Even with the crowd interfering.

Alot of times it feels bad when your favorite wrestlers are putting someone else over. If Chelsea puts Giulia over im super hype for it

It's true what Dreamer said about the finish. I seen Jake the Snake hit Chase Owens with a DDT when he was working CWE wrestling and the crowd went bananas. It was the biggest pop of the night. I turned into a little kid again seeing that.
Finishers don’t matter, the Canadian Destroyer is destroyed, the DDT is now the equivalent of stubbing your toe. The most devastating moves In pro wrestling are the Small Package, Sunset Flip and Roll Up pin.
Chelsea is well-versed in wrestling Giulia's style.
I don’t know about the statement about NXT not in the same level as any main roster talent. By far, the NXT wrestlers have a better grasp about the fundamentals of wrestling than the AEW talent. The NXT wrestlers progress in the ring, and acknowledge the fans. At AEW, seems like the wrestlers there just perform, and thats it. There’s little to no audience engagement. Which is why very few young wrestlers there rarely get over, or become stars. So, the NXT stars outshine them in every way.
NXT is developmental. You'll see them put people in situations or together to help them grow. Once a talent is potentially ready for the main roster, then they might bring them up in dark matches to go up against other pros or bring a legend down if they are really ready. Examples of this are when they brought Becky down to face Tiffany and Lyra. Tiffany's skill level shot out of a rocket from the time she stepped into NXT and Lyra has been wrestling for years. Both were able to do good matches and stories with Becky. They also brought Michin and Natalya down to face greener opponents like Lola and Jaida. You could see that Lola has some trouble against Natalie but had an easier time against Bazler because of styles. Jaida did well against Michin because they put her in situations where it was easier with less complex move sets. Then they put both Lola and Jaida against Roxanne and you could see both Lola and Jaida got better. But still there were some things they had trouble with. But generally they got a lot better. You might also notice that some matches are easier for newer talents than others. Like Kelani had an easier time with Sol than she had with Wendy. The match with Sol was smooth looked easy but the moves were more complex. In the match with Wendy you could see Kelani struggling because Wendy's style is not only different but probably also because Wendy is still getting back to form. But all of that said, the behind the camera support that they have at the performance center is stronger than AEW AND the talents don't have to travel which gives them more time to develop, rest, and grow. If you measured the absolute ability of wrestlers they have in AEW against NXT. It's no contest. AEW has the better wrestlers easily. Hands down. The problem is what they do with them. If HBK had that AEW roster at the performance center it would be historic levels of AEW Black and Gold. No doubt.
I’d like to hear their take on… if Cody hits one cross rhoads the match will more than likely continue… if he hits three tho the match is over.

My finisher if I was a wrestler would be: me dumping an enormous burlap bag full of bugs all over my opponent and they would have to sell fear and disgust instead of fatigue and exhaustion. I would go to a local bait shop and buy gross stuff to throw at my adversary. I feel bad for the ring guys who have to clean up my mess. 😂

To reply Tommy questions about the crowd being weird. The PC crowd is smarky of the smarky. They give out that weird reaction whenever NXT had PLE outside of the PC. They want everything and doesn't care about other crowd in other state
Giulia have more than twenty 4stars (imo) matches
Queendom 2022 at Stardom vs Syuri (their Wrestlemania, All in, Bound for glory) 30min match that give me the love for the puroresu. Since then I prefer that wrestlin (NJPW, NOAH, AJPW, Dragon Gate, Stardom, DDT, Sendai...) than WWE AEW TNA type

I am a big mark of puroresu and joshi puro including Giulia (I prefer Japanese companies and Indy, focused more on fights than WWE, AEW ,TNA storylines centric). It's my personal preference.
On the other hand I love, love, love Giulia (like everyone else). But in the US and especially in WWE I don't believe it (it won't work). I really see a Shinsuke treatment.
She needs to develop her character for the cultural Heel/ Face of the mainstream US. In Japan the Heel/face balance is much less marked. First she neither one the other. Her gimmick is ultra competitive backstage brawler (but not in a sneaky way), dangerous (in kayfabe) little cocky, who wins clean.
Basically she's THE MAN or Akira Hokuto (one of my favorites ever)
But her wrestling is pure PURO (Slaps, forearm strikes, Chop Fest, Headbutt, piledriver, a violent V-Trigger not the one sold by Chelsea Green...) like Ishii or Shingo Takagi (Tak, tak, tak, tak... lol). She's stiff. But in Japan everyone is stiff (at least more than in the women's divisions WWE or AEW)
On the mic she's very good (even at comedy), but in Japanese.
In the main roster her fights can be very good against 60% (Iyo, Becky, Bianca, Charlotte...) of the roster, but they'll doesn't know how to use/write her.
And in NXT against ex-soccer players or ex-volleyball players, it will be awful
When she gets nerfed she peaks at 3.5 at much (Willow Nightingale NJPW Strong Championship). When she releases the horses like with Mayu Iwatani, Maya Yukihi, Tam Nakano, Saori Anou, Saree, Syuri... it's 4.25 minimum.
She needs to be stiff and the opponent needs to be answered with Stiffness

@@liontamer8961I agree. They should keep Roxanne on NXT until after Stand & Deliver and WrestleMania. They need to make CW a success. Roxanne and Cora are not going to steal Giulia and Stephanie's shine. Put as much talent as you can on the CW and see what resonates with the demo there.

She’s been lost in the shuffle so be interesting to see where she fits into all of this. They’ve placed Giulia front and centre but they’ve got another great piece with Stephanie also. I want Roxy to stay on NXT, she’s still finding her feet on promos so be good to see her fully developed before they send her up. She is killing it match wise though. @@Scorpion51123314512 That would be a mistake, but I see the thought process. It's more importantly to create a stable foundation for the CW than to move her immediately up to the main roster. It'll be their own network television show so they have a lot of opportunities for eyeballs.

The problem with her promo was she sounded as if she was reading from a notecard. A good promo calls to the front great talents in the locker room, and not using the time to be cliche. If youre making art with an opponent as opposed to just getting through it; those particular opponents you dig deep and refrence particular moments in the match that changed you as a person.
😂 Thats why i loved the old days bc its what their promos were about. A particular bionic elbow that effects the way you work for the rest of the match u jus dont get right after and the opponent realizes it and targets it with keylocks and armlocks 😂
😂 when 2 people are being competitive youre not expecting the counter 😂 especially if its a shoot wrestler who locks up a limb quicker than you couldve imagined 😂😂 technical wrestling mixed with the art of balance and timing and if youre a great expressionist it rubs off on everyone else to evolve in their own ways HENCE the Attitude Ruthless Aggression eras.

Chelsea ran an audible with the crowd reaction and had the audience in the palm of her hand. She was perfect.
I don't see too much that is impressive about Giulia. She seems overrated. Just a carbon copy of Iyo Sky. Her English is not that good. NxT has many women on the roster that are bigger, stronger, and faster than her, and just as attractive or more attractive than her, and they have not been wrestling that long. She seems small and frail. Women wrestlers are getting bigger, stronger, and faster. I don't see what the big attraction in Giulia is. I don't see her getting over on main roster.
The majority seem to think that she definitely has an aura about her plus she was apparently the best women’s wrestler in Japan. She has that IT factor for sure.
We all need to see a couple of matches before we can really form a clearer opinion on her.
AEW will regret missing out on her, she would have really elevated their women’s divisions Big plus for WWE.

I think Bully is right, it’s exactly what is missing in AEW. Tony Kahn thinks if wrestlers go thru the motion he will succeed instead AEW has fallen behind NXT & TNA because there is no storyline you remember after the show!
It's a mess
If you can't even get through Sasha Banks' ring entrance every week without an aneurysm and the only thing you remember from Sasha's match with Britt is the corgis, there is a big problem. The only thing that felt new during that whole All In event was Toni Storm and May. And that was even too short.
Some finishing moves are so convoluted, you can't really tell what it is. And then the match is over.
