You should beat NEAT. NEAT f2 is an introduction to longjumps, something that you’ll come across at r3. Neat f4-5 is an introduction to outside sections, something that you’ll also DEFINITIVELY come across. You will also come across with the introduction of 1 studs and wraps, these two things are very important, specially if you’re trying to reach ToM f2. and f9. You should also beat MAT. MAT has headhitters at f3. That skill is very important to dominate if you’re trying to beat a hard-rem tower. Same with the final tightrope. Try to beat TaT. Its something that if is managed to beat, will give you a massive skill boost. because it has very cramped spaces like the one at f4. And also the wallhop at f2 outside section. Same with the stickouts at f3 outside section.
You can watch this little quiz if you want to know more about Totally A Tower,TAT is the hardest and most annoying part in R3TR because if you fail on TAT last outside,you need to do the R3TR again and TAT difficulty in R3TR can become bottom-low rem difficulty(personal difficulty)
NEAT just got 100x harder cuz now the blocks are almost pure white, as well as the sky, so when you get outside you have to tilt your camera just to see the blocks

they are harder in raw difficulty but because they short it gets put down a few difficulties, so imo the diffs are pretty accurate
WaT has a Horrific difficulty gameplay but since it's a mini tower it's Terrifying difficulty.
