Imagine a citadel/monolith (longer towers) where every floor have a style of upcoming top 1/impossible levels each being harder than the other one. Like at floor 1 it have a tidal wave style and the last floor have transfinite void (the hardest TPLL level) style
idk if you knew this already, but there are obbies that are based on gd levels (some are probably top obbies). two examples i know of are tower of white space and tower of descent into exile. there are definitely others

Some of these very difficult obbies just look like abstract art or random clutter from afar, and seeing how you can theoretically navigate it is pretty cool, to say the least.
I’ve always loved the idea of pushing the boundaries of what’s physically possible/humanly feasible in games. I can’t wait to see how much farther up the scale we can go!

In my opinion there’s a decently hard obby game called flood escape 2 that doesn’t exactly seem like the type of game to be “that difficult” but some fan made maps are insanely hard. Another game like it is Tria which will release today at 2! Definitely worth checking out
from my few years of experience in the obby community (which may not even be THAT much) fe2 is pretty popular for most obbyists, he just glazed over it in this video
i wish you had mentioned more of the beautiful obbies you've showed in the showcases before each chapter. near the end these obbies looked MAGNIFICENT, but you never told their names so i cant play or see them myself. overall this video is nice. your music choice is good, fits for "the vibe" of hardest roblox obbies

im not saying im right with what im about to say btw, there isnt any way to predict the future my prediction though is that, the reason were nearing an end is because its not to do with skill, but rather roblox physics, its not like gd where you just click and time it perfectly, or like rhythm games where you time 4-12 notes perfectly, roblox is entirely different if you get what i mean

My problem with these towers and tiered obbies is that most of the time people struggle with making difficult gameplay, so it ends up having horrible and ungrindable gameolay
We have gone a long way from simple roblox physics walking and jumping around… walking and jumping in roblox has become the fundamental mechanics for an entire community.

I just unlocked pit of misery, I actually mentally died. There are SO MANY terrifying and up to UNREAL. I had a seizure so big, the only easy tower felt like a REMORSELESS tower.
theyre made by the community, obbies are estimated to be x2 as hard as the last difficulty, so if an obby is 1 difficulty higher than the previous, its 2 times higher than the previous, its just a 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, etc order with each tier lol (again this isnt official, its how the community has it)

its not long at all, its a matter of mastering the jumps and resetting as fast as you can and getting lucky with the hard jumps

What even is the scale for jtoh difficulty compared to tiered obbies? Is there a sheet or smth I can look at.

difficult to compare. jtoh has scripted, moving and custom obstacles while tiered obbies use strictly basic parts (or most of them atleast)
