- Finished digging and grading the crawlspace. This job took 4 days to complete and I'll be back in a couple of weeks to backfill once the walls are poured. Been around since I was younger and this is about the most intricate site we've seen you master (as of today!) I still feel that with such an expensive house a full basement would have been a must. Once finished off it would double the size of the dwelling almost! Good thing TIME OFF B4 this one! Perfect reason for all the NEW equipment!

Watching you climb that pile on the south side… the amount of fill is HUGE. If you hadn’t terraced the foundation it would be an absolute mountain!!!
Those drone shots are golden. It’s apparent from that perspective the savings in concrete cost alone should make the Architect nominate you for Sub-contractor Of The Year!

That's a super nice excavation job that you "put a shine on!" With the wall heights you mentioned, the builder and homeowner have a lot of potential for building a basenent that is 1/2-3/4 the size of the house....just add a little bit of concrete floor and maybe 12" taller walls (if needed).

That is a heck of a hole. As others have said, few feet more you have a basement. Putting in a safe room would be a good idea in your area.

I've stepped walls and footing down hills my whole career. I'm surprised that you are stepping the slab as well. Seems odd that's what they wanted but the customer is always right!

This one looks more like an archaeological dig than usual, LOL. That was perfect timing for those nice drone shots to really show all the steps and levels. The job has finished up very nicely. And I see there's some work going on across the street on another lot. Anyway, so are you done for now?
