  • Root raking with the skeleton bucket on the TL12r2. I finished with the clearing and got all the stumps in the fire so I thought I would try the skeleton bucket to clean up the roots and sticks. The bucket worked out pretty well at separating everything out. The lot will definitely need dirt before they can plant any grass seed. Thanks for watching! #EliteEarthworks #Takeuchi #skeletonbucket

    I got 1 myself and thats what i bought mine for. Clean roots sticks rocks and bricks from a house site i clean up about 2 years ago. Also used it to get grass clumps out of top soil too. Have a great day be safe

    That bucket does a good job. Looks like it would be quicker than the excavator and possibly as quick as the dozer. Leaves a nice finish. Great job Brandon.

    Here we go, the master at work with the skid steer! You are also a master of the excavator but it something about when you the skid steer that I get excited about. Great camera view and content! You have been on this project for awhile. How much time have you given yourself to compete?. Can your share charges for this? I love see the scraping on the ground and how it changes with each pass. The collection of debris, etc.... liked Viewed, shared, Subscribed! # 1 Fan/Subscriber

    That cleaned up nicely. A friend of mine let me borrow his bucket like yours once. I had some unscreened top soil to put out that had a fair amount of trash in it. I used that bucket to shake out the majority of the junk and then used my power rake on it to finish it off. It worked pretty well.

    Id say. You get about 95% of the dirt out with it. Thats great and did a real nice job. Bet that would make a nice rock rake too 👍👍👍💯💯💯

    It didn’t take too long to figure out how it worked. Did it?
    That skeleton will be great for seining rocks and roots off of dry surfaces. It sifted a full bucket down to less than half once you got the shaking down pat. I think that was the perfect application for it!
    I am digging out a shed foundation pad this weekend while I have my backhoe ready. I should be clear to come by next week… let me know.

    Something with a wider tine spacing would really help getting the dirt out of the sticks and roots. That said, your skeleton bucket was picking up rocks that would have just fell out of my grapple.

    • @eliteearthworksllc
      @eliteearthworksllc  28 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      Yeah I probably should have brought my foot grappler bucket for this it has wider tines

    Very impressive! My son said that Skeleton Bucket was like a "pre"Preparator and we both thought it did a really nice job. I think you said you were going to be bringing in topsoil - will you be using the Preparator on that?

      I really enjoy running the 2150 it’s so smooth and just a joy to run. I also really like the skid steer and dozer cause I enjoy grading work. It’s tough to say what my favorite job is. I really enjoy clearing and grading but I also like putting in driveways and digging basements. I guess my least favorite is digging footings or sewer and water line repairs

    Any issues with your display in the cab on the new tl12? I have a tl10v2 with 200 hours now and I’m on my second display. Love the machine guess they just have screen issues. At least it’s covered under warranty.

    • @eliteearthworksllc

      I haven’t yet but I have heard some of the screens don’t come on and have to be replaced. Yeah at least it’s under warranty but still annoying having to deal with the downtime
