Instead of changing the hops to match the alpha acids, you can adjust the alpha acids to match the hop. Just choose your hop, and then adjust where it says "alpha acid %." That way the recipe and the values show correctly. My house beer is a NW IPA using Centennial , Cascade, and Chinook. These vary wildly in AA by crop, so I just make the AA adjustments and then vary the amount until it matches my expected IBU. Been using Brewfather and my Clawhammer 240v for a few years now and am absolutely thrilled with it and the customer service I've gotten since my purchase. Thanks, y'all! I have some rough numbers for the 240v profile in Brewather but would love an official profile.
Clawhammer has a lot of fans in Brazil(I'm one of them), so... what if you create a collaborative beer with one of the many Brazilian craft beer channels on TH-cam? Like: Beerschool, Cerveja Fácil, Robinho Beer and Wellington Assis. Combine ingredients from both countries and create a awesome beer..🤘
Hot damn, this is pretty close to the recipe i just created for Sunday's brew. Except for Mythical Hammer (and the abv lol) but going to LHBS and will grab it if its there! Hope mine turns out just as good!
Well, I'm sold. I'll try it out, but maybe add some fresh Rhubarb to the hop basket and 1lb of oats to the mash to get the mouth feel closer to what I will probably like. Cheers, Gentlemen!
Can you describe your fermentation and dry hop process? I’m curious if you dry hop in primary? Also since you used your collaboration yeast, did you pressure ferment? Thanks!
This is great. Cause this is what brewers do. We fuck around and find out
This is why home brewing is so fun

He said the hop that he was using wasn't registered on the software yet. That's why he tried finding a hop with similar AA
Great intro to planning recipes 👌
I love this! Just keep messing around and find the greatness

Great video guys, been missing design and taste videos on here. Seems like the herd is thinning out as far as brewtubets anymore.
I can hear Emmett’s beard hair every time he moves his head 😂 get that man a napkin! Thanks for the video, I love watching you guys
I used to use beersmith but like brewfather better. Been using it a few years now

I think you are on to something here. Not overly pretentious science, just having fun, real science. Buy clawhammer.

Where is the blog to set up the Clawhammer profile in Brewfather? Did I miss it? I have the 240v 10 gallon. Is there a profile for that?
When will Brewfather have the 240V system available as an equipment selection? Only the 120V is an option. Thanks!
