The Las Vegas Raiders have some rookies and 2nd-year players in key roles this year and the team needs them to come through. Here's how they looked in minicamp.

Speed, agility, and who can pick up the scheme is what OTAs are for. Getting their bodies as close to healthy as possible and work.
Waller had 4.4 speed, but he didn't impress me with his RAC. I like what Mayer does after the catch, hopefully Bowers will be the same.
Mayer was slow ASF and that was Carr throwing Waller the ball 😂. He was a check down machine, throw quick to Waller and hope shid would happen. Mr 50-50 ball himself
So I'll say this Bowers will more likely be better than Waller but Mayer hell no. All Mayer catches were contested because he doesn't get separation
Great job as always Carl ! The defense is always ahead of offense on mini camps, not to mention they are going up against one of if not the top defense in the league! They will only make the offense better
I'm absolutely NOT bothered by the negatives coming from mini camp. It's June, they're in shorts, the offense is new, and the defense which was #1 in the league after week 9 is coming back with most everyone plus some new pieces like Wilkins. So yeah, the offense is still in the installation phase, and will look shaky, and the defense is just picking up where they left off, and SHOULD dominate. 2-1/2 months until opening day, lot's of work to do, and nothing is decided, so everyone just chill.
Nah, dont stop until you win the Superbowl. Until then, nobody is good enough.

Maybe you don't know this about cigars, but you don't inhale them. You would get sick before you even got 1/4 of the way through. Trust me, I learned the hard way.
The Gatorade on the sideline is doing more harm than cigars. Unless smelling of stale smoke and probably not having the freshest breath will damage your career, I think he will be fine.

There is no way that the people in the front office aren't worried that the 2 qbs trying to earn the starting role look like they are trying to secure a backup role.
Neither player has looked good at camp so far, and that has come from several sources. The whole organization risked a lot to bet on those 2 players to save themselves from having to move up to take a qb. With everything they have put together, if the qb play is on the same level as it was last year, that is bad.
@@aaronalexander4928 I'll make it clearer then. AOC looked good the last five games, so he's not really an issue. A new offense is being installed. A new defense is not being installed. There is no blocking and no running plays, so the defense is feasting. Once the offense is learned, then they will be on the same page, and we'll see more games like the last five from AOC. People are bored an try to read things into situation that just aren't there. Happens every offseason. There are articles to be written, but not much happening.
What is the panic? Draft was solid , Mumford was locking guys like Joey Nosa up. Everybody looks good in shorts and helmets. Trenches are gonna take a minute 2 gell . AOC is gonna be OK not sure he's elite . Koonce is gonna have atleast 10 sacks

Both QBs are learning the playbook still and are up against a top 10 defense so hopefully they can find their rhythm during training camp

Wrong. First, there is no running game. All they are doing is passing. They are installing a new offense, but the defense is the same.
Offense needs a lot more work. Defense is dominating right now.
