Lonach Gathering in Strathdon--Aberdeenshire.

A centuries old clan march in the Strathdon area of Aberdeenshire. There are a number of similar community events. The eighteenth century march at Rosehearty held on ST John's day in January. Also, The festive annual walks in : Cairnbulg, Inverallochy, and St Cmbs.

I liked seeing this because I lived and grew up at Tornashean where the video showed the Highlanders were getting their dram, one of their many!! Not sure if many may remember the shooting lodge at Tornashean owned by the Thesiger family which was related by marriage to the Wallace family which owned Candacraig. How times and ownerships change.
