- This Rooftop conversation scene between Firefly and the Trailblazer has been my favorite moment in Penacony & Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.0 so far!

Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.0 takes Trailblazers to the brand-new planet Penacony, where we've met many new characters so far! My personal favorites so far include Sparkle, Acheron, and of course, Robin! :)
I'll confess: Despite knowing quite a bit about Honkai: Star Rail, I didn't know much about Firefly's character or role in this patch. She has absolutely blown me away with her performance and storyline!
I think this conversation was an excellent way to spotlight how Penacony's endless possibilities affect the people that live there - people we might not tend to encounter on a character banner.

After the cutscene where you take the selfie with firefly, I just put my controller down and looked at the sunset with the meteor shower and the beautiful song tying it all together for what felt like such a long time. I genuinely didn’t want to leave. I wanted to stay absorbed in that moment forever, cuddled by the amber light of the sky and the light above me. My mum passed away nearly six months ago and i imagined standing there with her, looking at that beautiful sight with the breeze through our hair. Thank you hoyoverse, for allowing me to feel as if I was with her again, even if it was only for a little while

After the mission I set up the song as default on the express and already came back to this spot multiple times just for the scenery. This is one of the very few times a game left me with such a strong impression: gorgeous environment, music spot on, and the English VA absolutely killed it. Loved every single moment
I will probably change my express music to this too - if my heart can take it!
I came here after finishing the whole trailblaze quest and after THAT cutscene. There was a special message on the rails and my heart just broke reading it. Dammit, so much for the name of that song. Please Mihoyo, please...
I set the song as the default too! The second half of the quest really broke me and got me attached to the characters. There's only a handful of games that can make me feel this way. Bravo, Hoyoverse!
Remember folks, Honkai is a positive and wholesome story
This hit really hard - you have to come back here after finishing the main quest

I do not know why but I’ve never cried this much for a character. After I was this I just couldn’t then after what happens in the story later I just stopped everything and put my head in my hands and didn’t sleep that whole day

This was such a good quest, overall hsr quests have been amazing but penacony so far is absolutely insane, and we only have the first part so far, im so excited to see how it goes

We support Firefly still till this day
I got mental breakdown bcs this scene,bcs the same thing happen real to me in reality
And yet I keep hearing people say why are people getting attached to Firefly. "We only known her for an hour, why should we care for her" they say. Either they simply aren't the target audience or they are emotionally stunted imo.
We learned so much about her dreams, AND the obstacles standing in her way in a single beautiful scene with soaring score. Of course I got attached!
@@RobinOsiria Yep but I was in a multi day "discussion" with someone who kept saying it was lazy writing and all the previous stuff I already said. I told them they might just not be the target audience or they simply were being contrarian for the sake of it. That they were entitled to their opinion but their opinion wasn't a fact. I had said my peace and wished them well but they kept trying to convince me I was wrong.
But since all the reactions I saw was similar to yours but for one, I know it's pointless to keep talking to such a person.And even the "bad" reaction I saw the guy is never serious and skipped some of the VA work and backstory and then asked what was her story like the (insert bad adjectives) he is. Hope you enjoyed the rest of the story.
