Hi Guys, Henry shared the link to your video with me. As one of the two creators of TERRIFIED, I have to say...you had me rolling on the floor. I so very much enjoyed this. It was a thrill to watch. Thank you! Really glad you enjoyed it and I REALLY enjoyed watching you play it through. I've not seen anyone but my own family play it so this was great fun. A few pointers and questions on your game play... that would have made it easier (and harder). 1) To answer your Pennywise question: The rule just states each player must hit Pennywise. It's keeping with the theme of the book/movie. If you'e playing with 5 people, each player must hit PW at least once. If three people, each once, etc. 2) You played Ghostface harder and Freddy easier: Ghostface: on one play you could play any number of tokens (up to your total actions) and flip over that many suspect tokens. So if you start in the precinct and have 4 actions (example) you could flip over FOUR suspect tokens before having to reshuffle. I'm stunned you were able to do it the hard way...one flip/token at a time before shuffling. Well done! Freddy: You advanced correctly but didn't defeat him correctly. He's in the dream world. To defeat you have to let him hit you to put you to sleep. Then you play the alarm clock token to wake up and bring him in the real world. Only then can you defeat him with the 6+ red token(s). Still...well done! 3) Why didn't you engage Mrs Voorhees or Tommy when their villager cards came up? They're just regular villagers for your game. 4) Picking up items: If I saw this right, you were only picking up ONE token for one hero action. That is HARD! The normal Horrified rules state you can pick up any number of tokens in a single action in any location. Thanks again for doing a play-through on this. you were fun, entertaining and clear with your actions and video skills. Well done!
I'm just gonna comment and say that I LOVE this creation. I so badly want to find Terrified at my FLGS. It looks amazing!! Thank you for putting in the effort to make it and I'm grateful that some TH-camrs I know were able to share it with the world!! Thanks again for this amazing game! If you happen to put make more copies, put me on that waiting list :)
Hey guys, I just saw this video. I'm so glad you liked it! I provided all the miniatures for Lance, and was happy to hear that you guys liked them. Just wanted to point out that this is something that you can own in case people didn't realize it. You need a copy of the Horrified board game, and then you can get all of the printable files to convert it to Terrified from Lance, except the miniatures. I sell those on my site. There's a bit of cut, paste, glue, and painting involved but the end product is so unique and so much fun. Thanks again for the awesome video.
Thanks for the fun play. I love Horrified. Bring on the fan made editions. I am invisioning SCOOBY HORRIFIED with various mosters from the show. You know when you pick up items you get all items in 1 location with one pick up action
I love seeing the fan expansion played! But y’all should get the rules down! You can discard items to avoid hits too. Or is Freddie immune to item discarding? 13:59
Horrified made for a wonderful Halloween brunch party for the family. I don’t think it lent itself to alpha playing (?) like Pandemic did. I purchased the new one for this year’s festivities. I think Terrified looks great and I wish it existed IRL retail as my students would LOVE this.
In practice, this game's theme seems less "slasher horror film" and more "gang of trick-or-treeter kids gang up and beat the shit out of Doolin and take his stuff"
I agree with what Max said re: caring about the monsters goes a long way toward your enjoyment of the game. I own two copies (!) of OG Horrified, and have almost zero interest in playing American Monsters.
I totally agree with you Jon, BUT, interestingly enough... I have more desire to play American Monsters! Not that I would prefer them to these movie monsters like Jason and Chucky, but I have no connection with the Universal Monsters so things like Bigfoot and the Windigo def appeal to me.
They absolutely do! We learned that shortly after recording. Certainly would have made for a much easier game... Would it have been enough? We'll never know!

Thanks so much Lance! We had a blast and will definitely use your advice for next time! :)

Do you have a link that I could use to access the website? I’d LOVE to support the project and purchase what’s available
There is also a fan conversion of Horrified American monsters

We figured that out shortly after James! Thanks for the tip though!
Scooby horrified would be SO cool :D
That's awesome! TY Henry for sharing! 💜 I love fan skins of games.
Agreed! Thanks Henry :D
The fan make is SO well done.
This needs to be a real game this year
Wish they could really make this version
I made this game 10/10
Working on a Headless Horseman expansion for the original.
I love seeing the fan expansion played! But y’all should get the rules down! You can discard items to avoid hits too. Or is Freddie immune to item discarding? 13:59
Definitely some rules errors here! We wanted it out for the holiday and both were pretty new to the game. You're absolutely correct!

100% I would love to own this! With that said, I'm excited to try American Monsters and I think it'll be a hit too!
In practice, this game's theme seems less "slasher horror film" and more "gang of trick-or-treeter kids gang up and beat the shit out of Doolin and take his stuff"
HA! Either way, Doolin's terrified, amiright?
This is literally my dream game. I would do anything to get my hands on this
It's really unique, and wonderful! We're so happy we had a chance to try it out!
Are you guys based in Nashville? Just ask because of the sweater. Great content and really enjoy your playthroughs and overviews
Based in central KY! Doolin just happens to be a fan of most Tennessee sports teams. Titans, Predators, Nashville SC, etc.
I dont know if this was asked already or answered, but WHERE CAN I GET THIS GAME!!!
That looks extremely difficult
It very much was... But we were doing some things harder (and a couple easier) than it should have been. Still a ton of fun!
I agree with what Max said re: caring about the monsters goes a long way toward your enjoyment of the game. I own two copies (!) of OG Horrified, and have almost zero interest in playing American Monsters.

I believe the rules say you can pick up any number of items with only one pickup action, things would have been so much easier for you guys! :(
They absolutely do! We learned that shortly after recording. Certainly would have made for a much easier game... Would it have been enough? We'll never know!
I really wish that was a real game I could buy the bad guys are way cooler than either of the horrified games
100% Agreed! I would love to own this!
Love this!!
Thanks Lea!
Draco would like to express his review opinion.
Draco may have the floor!
💚❤
I just can't with the newer Pennywise. This really needed the Tim Curry version. Otherwise I would love it.
